Hi Karrikuh,
i have a question regarding your filter plugin.
An explanation:
I just love that one can do a great Jarre-like phaser with the allpass4+ modes.
However - i would essentially like to use both filters in allpass4+ mode, having the filters in serial mode, essentially doubling these allpasses to get steeper notches. The Jarre like phasing is done with a Smallstone, which has much steeper notches, which plays a key role in that typical sound of a Smallstone (the design is a bit different in the Smallstone anyway, resulting in 2 steep notches but only one peak in between of those - but that's not so much of a problem to me atm).

So what i am doing to achieve the steeper notches is the following:

1. i set both filters to allpass4+ mode.
2. i set the routing to serial, so that the first filter feeds the second.
3. i set the filter balance to 100%, essentially outputting only the second filter, which is being fed by the first filters output exclusively.

The result should be, that everything essentially is the same, only the notches are much steeper and the resonance is doubled (which i could compensate for with the resonance knob). So essentially there should still be 2 notches as a result, when having the mix set to 50% - only they should be much steeper, as i essentially doubled the allpasses via the serial routing.

However - that is not what is happening. Instead now i have 4 notches and much more peaks in between. It seems that the result is not a 4 stage phaser with steeper notches, but instead it becomes an 8 stage phaser, resulting in 4 notches and 4 peaks.
Which is what o don't need - or if i need an 8 stage phaser with 4 notches and 4 peaks, i can use just one filter in allpass8+ mode, which does exactly that.

So here's my question:
How do i have to set up the plugin to achieve the above described?

Thanks so much in advance for your answer. :tu:
