Yup, if you are not using the 1.1 beta right now, the code on GitHub will not work for sure.

It'll get there when it gets there.TeotiGraphix wrote:Browser functionality will be there when the APi is, right now 1.1 does not allow for Browser navigation.taoyoyo wrote:Just wanted to add that I'm really njoying this script with BWS and Push... am interested to see how it develops as the API expands (browser capabilities similar to that used in Live would be top of my list).
Also... not sure if this is a reported issue but the script does not 'close' on Push for me (OSX, 10.9.5) after quitting Bitwig... anything shown on Push before quitting remains (I have to switch Push off and on manually).
Nice work guys!
The quit bug seems to be Bitwig. The controller code has full implementation for and exit() and flushes buttons and display. I know I have the same issue when i am working on it.

I've been playing with the 4.0 (unreleased) version with BWS 1.1 b6, there's already a lot more groovy stuff going on (for me to try to remember!
One thing that would be handy would be if it was possible to somehow get the Ribbon (in Session/Crossfader mode) to be able to center exactly to zero (not sure if there's any 'double-tap' or 'touch sensitivity' available to allow that?)

This should be possible and maybe I can add it to brush of my dust, Moss has been doing a lot of the dev the last month while I have been working on the Maschine scripts.taoyoyo wrote:It'll get there when it gets there.TeotiGraphix wrote:Browser functionality will be there when the APi is, right now 1.1 does not allow for Browser navigation.taoyoyo wrote:Just wanted to add that I'm really njoying this script with BWS and Push... am interested to see how it develops as the API expands (browser capabilities similar to that used in Live would be top of my list).

As an aside if you need anyone to test the Maschine Studio script when it's at that stage I would be happy to help.
Cheers,

I will post a thread when I am to that point, I am getting a Mikro and MKII this week so I will have all three to test with, just not the MKI.taoyoyo wrote:... Thanks. Is it supposed to release when bitwig stops? Currently it stays on whatever push was set to at the time of bitwig closing (I have no idea if it's a demo thing which is the push version I'm using)TeotiGraphix wrote:Sure! Could you rephrase this? I don't quite understand the question.

Ah, you mean the controller reset when you close bitwig.
This is a know bug with Bitwig's native controller code and hopefully will be fixed sooner than later. For now you need to manually reset the controller with the power button, sorry about that.
This was brought up before and due to how complex the Push is, it takes a lot of MIDI messages to reset the controller, thus Push doesn't have enough time to get all the MIDI messages before Bitwig closes the process.
EDIT: the Push's driver IS released but the button/display are not cleared properly.
