Are you sure these links are for v 2.8? I tried the update link and the file I got is still named 2.7

Please ignore the file names, I havent updated the names yet.

Did you run the setup? The setup displays SynthMaster 2.8 Beta

Ah, OK then. No, I didn't run the setup. I canceled the download as soon as I saw still 2.7 in the name

File rename solves my question

There are alignment problems between the tabs. Also the buttons top left are uneven.
When you flip trough all the pages you see certain elements jump a couple of pixels.
The coloring issues are there too still.

Also with the blue theme the layer 1/filter 1 waveshaper is broken. Sometimes the left part is blanked, other times the right.

The coloring and alignment is in all the themes, the waveshaper is only in the blue one.

I really hope there will be some more love for the gui of synthmaster.

Error launching after 2.8 x64 upgrade over 2.799.
"Synthmaster could not load drum mapfolder:"
Nothing else after that?
During launch and vst scan in Maschine 2 x64 on Windows10 x64.

Subsequently plugin is unable to load due to same error.

Try to download the full setup, instead of update. I'll check out the update installer again.

EDIT: yes there was a folder missing in that setup, uploading again.

I'm having some problems with the beta...I mean it is a beta but here are the problems/bugs I encountered

-Rearranging fx by dragging on the layer activates the Arp.
-Increasing modulation amount hard to do when using mouse above the knob(the mouse pointer changes erratically from bi-directional arrow when trying to increase or decrease modulation).
-Unable to change skin from "Synthmaster one" skin(most of the skin is black/blank).
-Drum maps not found when installing update over previous install(2.7) instead of full installer.
-Phase doesn't change the Phase of waveform anymore but it does change the pulse width of the pulse wave and the noise wave...
-Enabling/disabling the Phaser in the Fx1 window actually enables/disables Ensemble effect.
-Synthmaster2fx executes invalid operation during scan for Vst plugins and doesn't load in reaper.
-Synthmaster Blue default skin doesn't have all of the updated Gui(maybe other default colors besides green are the same).
-Arpeggiate mode screen is blank in the Arp section.

About SynthMaster One skin: That one is put in the installer accidentally

I am going to remove it.

Oops, my bad!

Also, about the FX tabs: some parts are intentionally left blank, I'm gonna put display controls in there (chorus, phaser, compressor and LoFi displays). Hopefuly by the end of next weekend the next update is on the way.

Nice update. I see the envelopes are improved as well. Great. Having the ability to see modulation amount is a really eye opener. I can finally see the difference between x and + modulation type. There are a few things I noticed though:

1. Drag and drop functionality does not work for me. Edit: It does, could not understand how it worked, tried to drag source into mod matrix
2. Modulation Matrix is always filtering, even when filter is set to none.
3. Changing filter types is changing volume output heavily.
4. Tried to add modulation using via parameter. Did not notice any effect of doing that.

Reaper user here. All in all excellent work. Looking forward for the release version.
