I just finished a quick mix today and had UVI Plate demo all over it. It's unbeliavable how good this thing is. It is ridiculously easy to create subtle space and depth with this and to truly fine tune everything just the way you want it.

piece of digital reverb right here. I don't presonally care at all if it's true to a real plate or not. I already have Acustica Audio Ebony which fills that duty very well (and also Soundtoys little plate which is excellent). Those are quite specialty cases though and kind of one trick ponies. UVI Plate is not. On the contrary, it is phenomenally useful and flexible on virtually any sound source.

I also think of the different quality modes as truly useful "tone" alternatives. I had several cases where I got the most desirable sound on the 'low' setting (lack of density and more ringing can sometimes be an actual advantage!) so cudos for including so many! Could you perhaps even add an 'Ultra Low' setting with just a few "bounces"?

Anyhow, this is an absolute must buy in my case. I can not in any way live without it any more. Well done UVI. Bloody well done!

I have three really great plate reverbs, UA EMT 140, Waves AR Plate and PSP 2445 (In addition to the ST Echoboy, VVV, Waves H, Lexicon LXP, TC VSS3 which are multireverbs, and several plate IRs). This UVI sounds cold to me, I don't like the GUI either. I think I get more pleasant plate from any of my above plugins.

i have some pretty good plates imo but this thing just knocked them off the table. one thing i missed from all my other plates... they were lush but they missed that metallic flavor. as was mentioned previously... this thing 'sounds' like metal to me. i compared them and it is like fresh strings on your guitar vs old tarnished strings. the UVI has the 'ting' so many are missing imo and THAT was the kicker for me.

Australia mate - my sister had pretty average net speeds but got the NBN earlier this year. Now it's even worse!
