Thanks for the beta! Love the sound, filter options, layout and no bugs to report yet.
The thing about a synth with no FX -- it's gotta sound good 'cuz there's no place to hide! And Aspect's balance between simplicity and versatility is unique.
Would you consider sub-oscillators?

Thank Winston, much appreciated!
A few additional bugs have been reported, so there will be (at least) one more beta upload soon enough.
And about the oscillators: yes! I have some new oscillators under development, but I just couldn't get quite the feel right with them. I'm hoping to get them in for perhaps a 2.1 release.

Still have a few of the reported bugs to fix, and I'd like to get these test before the public release. I suspect the next private beta will be the final one, as the overall opinion seems to be: it's solid.

I'm anticipating a full release next week. I've got one last bug to hunt down, admittedly one of those one-in-a-hundred type ones, but hopefully something I can get fixed shortly. And then: Aspect for all.

I have the latest beta version and I couldn't find any issues in my usage. It's fantastic and I'm loving the new GUI. The layout is efficient and logical. I'm just hoping for a side-chain input and then I'm golden.pinki wrote: Sat Jun 15, 2024 1:54 pm Love love love this new Aspect rebirth. Nothing to report, Mac Monterey in Logic. Congratulations Colin!
Interface is so well done...

Haven't run into any issues on the last version of Ventura [ OSX ].
Importing presets from V1 worked perfectly.
After not having been able to use Aspect for a while [ UI issues ] it's been really nice to rediscover how 'alive' she feels

Nice, thanks all.
I've collated together the final batch of presets for the v2 release, slimming them down to the best and most usuable 600 or so. (The ones I've rejected I'll look to put together into a preset pack at some point in the future.) All that is outstanding is now proof-reading the manual and ensuring that it covers everything. Looking good for a release within the next days.

Of course, I can send you the final release. Could you PM or email me? Thanks!daed wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2024 4:07 pm Hi Colin. I've been a long-time user of Aspect pretty much forever. Any word on this and/or could I also perhaps have a copy of the beta?
