I like the arturia synths/samplers just fine. I like that they support mts esp micro tuning. I like the MPE support. There does seem to be more than I really need there though. I kinda feel like the FX might be more than I need too.
After 20 years of plugin based music making I already have a crazy amount of things. Especially processors for mixing and sound design. I'm sure I'll end up getting some of this stuff before the deals end though as I'm as susceptible to wanting new shiny things as anyone.

Very good tip actually.

Wow. I can't believe I am getting through this year with just Stepic and a few Falcon expansions/instruments. Probably under $150 total.
Then again I did pick up Falcon in the Halloween sale so I should count that too really.

So far nothing is on my BF radar, but this might be an interesting release:

I haven't put it through its paces yet but I was impressed on my first playing around with it! I like the UI more than I anticipated.

Would say Monark overall but if you don't want to use NI AXXESS is pretty much a bad boy; although, I'm pretty sure there are many more opportunities to get AXXESS cheaper.HOTF wrote: Tue Nov 19, 2024 2:16 pm Plugin Boutique offers NI Monark or Gforce AXXESS with any purchase. Wich one would you choose ?

Monark is deprecated to pretty much of a legacy freebie and will surely come around in one way or another before they just finally announce you're on your own and it's officially dead to the company.
So yeah, Axxess is your better bet.
Back to my radar, I was about to pull the trigger on Myth until I read through the bickering of who to buy it from. I'd still go with the vendor, but the delay was enough to ask myself a second time how much I needed/wanted it.
I might pick up Outersect Modeler instead, or may go with Audio Damage Continua...

Picked it up at 50% off. Nice but of course I ended up going for 6 ADpaksBJ wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 3:44 am XLN Addictive Drums Custom with 3 ADpaks. I'm really only interested in that new Vintage Dead ADpak already demo'd it. Hope it goes on sale.
Just waiting on the Refx Nexus 5 upgrade and then I’ll be done for black friday.

Yeah, me too and I got UJAM Vice as a freebie. After 3 hours pulling my hair out trying to get BFD3 downloaded, registered, BFD2 expansions authorized, troubleshooting kits that won’t open, etc., all I can say is…
…Vice was worth $39.

Geez. Hearing that, it reinforces why I'm still hesitant to grab BFD3 when it's fricking $39. It helps that I'm pretty happy with Sundrums + NI kits, but still....well, I have Monark and I'm not sure Axxess is a need...I'll check into the one you got!

To be fair, BFD3 is still probably worth $39 for most people, especially if you’re on a newer Mac like me and BFD2 is no longer compatible. My complaints are a little specific and may not apply to everyone. The download is pretty huge (39GB IIRC) which took a while, as did the installation. However after installing it twice (following the instructions, of course), it wouldn’t load any factory kits or samples, so I re-downloaded it and reinstalled it again and it finally worked.Stokely wrote: Thu Nov 21, 2024 12:41 am Geez. I also have several expansions that I’ve owned for BFD2 going back a decade or so, and I was happy that they are “supposed” to work with BFD3, but it took me a while to figure out how to authorize them since they were tied to my FXpansion account and needed to be authorized by my new BFD account. But, once I finally figured that out, it was simple and very quick. However, even though they’re now installed, authorized, and recognized, they won’t load into BFD3. Honestly, I just gave up at that point and figure I’ll try again at a later time and I’m sure it will get sorted somehow. Aside from all that, my only other and biggest complaint is that the text on the UI is microscopic on my Thunderbolt displays and there does not appear to be any way to scale it. I guess I’ll be jamming my face against the screen if I want to use it.
