3rd track from my upcoming CD "Outtakes II"

Reviewing others music by request only. Comment and leave a link if you wish a song reviewed.

Lyrics:

When The Last Curtain Falls

When there's nowhere to go
When your friends become foes
Through the highs and the lows
When the grim reaper calls

When the day turns to night
When your fears turn to fright
When there's no wrong or right
When the last curtain falls

Come to me cause I respect you
Come to me and I'll protect you

No one knows how you feel
I'll show you what is real

When there's nowhere to turn
When the world starts to burn
The last lesson to learn
When the last curtain falls

When the last curtain falls

8th track from my upcoming CD "Hammers And Nails"

Reviewing others music by request only. Comment and leave a link if you wish a song reviewed.

Lyrics:

Bad Fornication

Bad fornication
It's better than nothing at all
Bad fornication
It'll still make you feel 10 feet tall
Bad fornication
It's better than life without
Bad fornication
It'll get you off without a doubt

Hump me then dump me
It really don't matter
Take it or leave it
Just clean up the splatter

Bad fornication
Been down that road once before
Bad fornication
I still came back, came back for more
Bad fornication
Sell it on the dirty streets
Bad fornication
Have it with everyone you meet

Instrumental Break

Repeat Bridge

Bad fornication
Guess I'll say goodbye to you
Bad fornication
Either way ain't got a clue
Bad fornication
Adios to you my friend
Bad fornication
Time to put this to an end

Welcome back! The place is not the same without you bro...
Curtain
Really nice orchestral intro.
great minimalistic piano and vocal startup.
2:54 Would have liked a bit more umph/edge in the stabs there.
I've not got a song that I'd like reviewing; I've got one in the oven right now but its going to be over a week before its baked and ready. Take it as a blanket request that I'd like your feedback on every song I do. : )

No need to worry. You're one of those few people who I know I can critique without worry. Thank you for your feedback. As for the stabs, not even sure how I would have gotten any more edge out of them. I used the BBC Discovery Orchestra just to try it out (it was free) and the song was essentially done without any processing outside of the natural ambiance of the samples and sound stage. It was a very different song for me. But everything was stripped bare so it is what it is. I don't think a processed version would have had the same effect as I was going for a natural symphony orchestra sound.

I'm thinking of getting the BBC Core because I do like the sound. Core will give me more control.

Anyway, it's good to be back. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Welcome back Wagtunes! I missed seeing your comments on everyone’s songs.
Many paid and free VSTs as well as Kontakt libraries. As well as HW synths/drum machine and acoustic instruments.

I have 8 songs completed. 4 left to do. This has been a very difficult CD for me to do as it's way outside my comfort zone. Plus, trying to do Trent Reznor is about as insane as trying to do Queen. But I keep trying to stretch myself as an artist and I can't do that if I just do the same things over and over. So for good or bad, I'm doing my best NiN.
