support informed me you do not need iLok to activate for plugins which seems strange for AIR plugins and licenses can't be resold or transferred.

They are legit. By saying "no need for iLok" they mean you don't need a physical one (the USB dongle that you have to plug in when you are using the software). Some of the iLok softwares now allow you to authorize on your hard drive. You still need to download the iLok software tho.

I own some Air products and can confirm that they will do a machine-based iLok. (No dongle required.)

The only caution with this is that you have to make sure to deactivate everything in your iLok license list before doing a format/reinstall of your OS. Just look around on this forum and see people who have posted stories about when they forget to do that!

How often does Zynaptic go back down to their intro sales prices? I guess the sale is over tomorrow. $149 is not a no brainer on this for me, but I like what I am hearing.

But I also have a 50% off coupon for SonicCouture ending tomorrow and I'm thinking about using it on their Geosonics.

I hate making decisions.

Geosonics is exceptional, Intensity as well. I would buy both of them!

LOL! I probably will. It's a good thing I don't need very much more from SC, because the 50% is off the total sale (one-time) not an item. But the only thing else I was interested in was the Array Mbira, and it seems there is one in the Box of Tricks.

Problem is, I just bought their NI bundle and now have at least one of everything I wanted by them, except the Geosonics. And two Box of Tricks and Estey organs and well as most of the free with purchase items. But one can always use a second Wassalou Balafon.....

It was definitely worth it though. I'd been eyeing the Glass Works, Marimba, Vibraphone and Morpheus for a while. Such a great deal. It was funny because, unlike a lot of the other NI sales, the things on sale were stuff I didn't have.
