I asked them about switching out some of the duplicates. They stated I didn't have enough to make a deal for them (I had 2 that are major libraries and all the free ones) They pointed out, the full bundle was still a great deal for me - which was true and why I grabbed it.

They did, however, give me a 50% off coupon on anything else I bought after buying the bundle. So, the same deal as I would have gotten on NI if the ones I wanted where there.

I am happy with the solution.

Note that they are perfectly fine with you selling any of the duplicates you have (I had 5 duplicates from the bundle and was able to sell them all for), mostly covering the cost of the bundle although I took a little hit on buying the license transfers, while adding things like Morpheus, Grand Marimba, Vibraphone and Electro-Acoustic that I didn't have). It would have still been a great deal even if I couldn't sell the duplicates though.

For future reference though, can you explain what the Waves VIP offer is? I've never heard of it or seen that language used anywhere. Assume this is different than the JULY25 offer?

I actually didn't register the Box of Tricks, but I think NI did, so SC doesn't have me as owning it, but NI does. Not sure about changing it since I think NI doesn't charge for transfers. The other duplicates I didn't catch when copy and pasting the block of serial numbers. Oh well. Until I saw all my products, I thought Box of Tricks was the only one.

Edited: I figure I will wait until the sale is over to sell them - then someone who missed the sale can get them.

Last night I was reading the No Chat section and saw that Soundtoys had a "until the 31st" coupon (SPF10) that added an additional $10 off their current sale. This makes Echoboy Jr $19 so I decided to checkout the demo. Sadly they have followed the miserable trend of requiring a user to download ALL of their products just to demo anyone. After downloading and installing 1.2gb, I like what I heard and purchased EB jr, then deleted the crap I never wanted anyway. Doing so wiped out the presets for the 6 other ST plugs I own. Nice STs

This is a bad practice and I would never demo anything from Soundtoys again

I bought before from them, they are legit. Looks like the AIEP3 is almost always on sale, but this time they add the VIP software and some more stuff. I might bite the bullet this time.

I was told by Soniccouture that as long as I had what I wanted to get in my cart by yesterday, I would have a couple of weeks to complete the order on the NI store. I actually had to follow-up with my request to Soniccouture via their support page because their first answer never reached me and they provided me the info they sent me with their initial answer via email.

That's great to know. I left the bundle in my cart, I was hesitating for a while. Knowing that it's still available for a couple of weeks, I still have some time to change my mind and checkout.

Waves always find a way to add a rebate. With the July25 code, Abbey Road Collection was 115$ at everyplugin.com, but last april, it was available at 108$ at the same website. So one thing for sure, if you miss a Waves deal, you will get it later.

Last month was the same. They didn't offer the good sales again at the end of the month. So I grabbed early this month.

I'm pretty much at the I have everything I need so you have to impress nme or be no-brainer price to get me to buy.
