Question for Pianoteq Pro users: do you hear a difference when using it at the sample rates higher than 48kHz?

Post

No, but sometimes I think I can feel the difference. Pretty sure it's just an emotional illusion though. ;)

The release is planned for today, Aug 3rd.
However, McDSP (as well as Eric...) are based in California and it's 5:50 am there now
Let's wait a few hours.

That $149 for a year is making me itch...
Thanks all!
Just check the fine print and see whether or not it includes an ilok dongle, in case you don’t already have one. I think they included it in the promotional packages a while back, not sure if they still do.

If you got a taste for the Dream Audio Tools libraries at the recent APD Mega Bundle Deal, you might want to check out their current "Dreamy Summer Special" sale. The libraries they have on sale now were not included in the bundle and are probably the best libraries they have.

Good find. Those libs are mighty sweet.

Being a guitar player, I had the idea in my head that buying guitar sample libraries was somehow sacrilegious. Those cinematic guitar libraries, however, are pretty incredible.

The Dream Keys library seems like it would have some overlap with my Soundiron Emotional Piano, but I'll listen a little more closely to decide on that one.

Sounds very similar than the late 9Voltaudio's guitar texture libraries for the RMX. I've got them all - can't hear these bringing much new to these.

from a UK buyer's perspective, jrr's discounted prices are cheaper than that "sale" eg zebra is £160 in that sale vs £140 at jrr and diva is £144 vs £119 (jrr code GROUP) with current paypal conversion.

Conversion seems to work out at £128.58 at JRR Shop according to Google's exchange rate (which is usually lower than Paypal's rate + conversion fee) although it appears that if you're a first time buyer at Inta Audio you get a 10% off voucher too, which would bring Zebra down to £144 (inc VAT).

If you were thinking of getting Chromaphone 2 though, there's only about £1.50 difference (JRR still cheaper).

Just wondering if anyone got their monthly voucher code from Plugin Alliance? I haven't gotten one yet this month. I would have thought I spent enough, but maybe not. Or they are not doing them anymore?
Thanks....

They have not been sent out yet. They usually come out during the first full week of the month after the weekend is over (Mondays or Tuesdays). In some cases, they do come out sooner (i.e. June they came out on Friday, June 1st), but the fact that it's not out yet isn't unusual.

I'm thinking that for this month, they wanted to wait until the bx_console SSL 4000 E and G promos were over before issuing new vouchers (but that's just a guess on my part).

I was kind of wondering that when I went back and looked at the latest email and it said no further discounts allowed. But I thought I'd check.
Thanks!
