Wait and see. I hope that I can keep up the good feeling of Bazille with the other systems that I intend to put into Berlin Modular.

I'm however sure that the improvements that come with Zebra 2.5 will make it unavoidable :hihi:

I don't know if theres room for this but a slew limiter module with individual rise and fall time settings would be awesome. It's very useful for creating glided control voltages from i.e. a Sample and Hold signal to make sliding filter cutoff modulation.

I believe the Lag Generators are the same thing as slew limiters. :)

That's what the Lag Generators are for... it's basically just another name for slew rate limiter. They're also one pole lowpass filters with different coefficients for rising and falling delta, and they are also envelope followers. They are actually the most simple units in Bazille apart from the inverter, and they go by dozens of names :)

Ah, I see. It's hard to keep up with all the different names and terms. I believe the lag in the Arp odyssey works differently so I thought it was something more of a delay trigger of sort (like network lag). 8-)

what happens when you put lag on an audio signal, is that like a low-pass filter or something?
Do not lick the fablanky

Yes. For traditional stuff you need to keep attack and release the same value.

If you first send the audio signal through a rectifier, then it becomes a peak follower.

It's basically the same deal.

Yes, with static frequency (of course you could automate the Attack).

Wow just tried the alpha. What a beast! Will the GUI be kept in all grey? I think it would help to have a bit more colour coding, cause I spent a lot of time looking for different grey bits on grey background.

Another question. I can't see that Bazille have any audio inputs. Do you plan on adding audio inputs on any of the other Berlin Modular units so that one can use the system as an effects processor or similar?

Maybe. It isn't my priority though, as for VST one would have to do a separate plugin.

The real deal would be a stand alone application with as many inputs and outputs as you want, so you can patch in and out with your outboard gear. This however is a bit over the top for my resources though.

Never mind...

Sorry for being a pain in the a**. If I do some awesome sounding patches with the alpha version of Bazille, would you like me to send them to you? And if you then agree that the patches are indeed awesome, would you include them in the factory soundset? =)
I think that's a bit early for the factory: as it's an alpha some changes on the code that Urs could do probably will affect the original patches did in alpha when loaded in the final release.

I little OT, but I really like your Bazille videos, made me laugh a couple of time and it sounds really cool. I'm looking forward to that one.

Keep up the great work URS!
