More than five, but here is my top list of new features.
1. Being able to play Scenes in series by dragging scenes to a playlist would be fantastic. Then having multiple playlist to try out different versions of the song. Dragging playlists into the Arrangement would be a really powerfull feature to complement it.
2. Enabling muting of whole midi tracks. It only works with clips or audio now
3. Track delay (plus and minus) would be really helpfull
4. Better routing of outputs for Instruments with multiple outputs
5. Masterkeyboard container with splits, layers and fades and multiple outs. Insert- send- and global effects would be nice to have too. This container would also be a powerfull alternative to the drum maschine container
6. Dissolving midi clips to new midi clips defined by note number. Great for splitting up drum clips into separate clips for kick, snare, tom etc
7. A notepad plugin. Drop it anywhere, open it and type in text.

I would not want a whole new plugin just to write notes. Just let us write notes per track, just like how it is in Logic. You have Global/Project notes and Track notes. I don't think this is too hard to implement.mljakobsen wrote:7. A notepad plugin. Drop it anywhere, open it and type in text.

But not, because Freeze would bounce the entire track, and not lose the midi/automation data. Bounce in place is one-way. Freeze is two way.anp27 wrote:It actually is Bounce in Place, in Bitwig.sagetone wrote:freeze, you mean bounce and not bounce in place, right?

Until comping is part of BWS I will always need another DAW. (In my case S1, this is the best implementation of comping I have used so far)
I would probably keep using S1 for the melodyne intigration, but I think BWS could (and should) integrate ARA quite easily.
Although S1 has lots of other benefits and features, it would probably only take both of above for me to seriously consider using BWS as my main DAW.

X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!
