I have almost all u-he plugins on the main u-he page (only missing Repro-1 and Satin now), I became a u-he fan pretty quickly after getting Diva last year. I recently got Hive, I was putting Hive off as low priority because I felt like the ones I had (like Zebra and Diva) could do the same and more already. Having read quite a bit on this forum, I know that Hive is really a subset of Zebra under the hood, and when I got Hive I could really hear that, there's a certain very pleasant "grainyness" to Zebras sound thats also present in Hive, hard to explain with words, but it makes it sound very "high res" and high quality. I was really enjoying just taking two hours and sit down and play the presets and getting to know Hive 'in person', super playable and the sound is top notch, now I get why people love it

That "high res" quality must be Urs's magic touch
, as AFAIK no source code from Zebra2 oscillators, filters or envelopes etc. was reused in Hive.
