And this is why we kindly asked that you didn't share information on the beta outside the beta forum! That feature is simply not done yet due to a bug, but Reason will support fxb. The beta is the beta, the final release is something else. :)

Sorry, you're right of course...

There's a lot of excitement, I hope you'll understand...

again, the education most Reason die-hards are about to get in the music-production Industry is hilarious.

Awesome to watch a completely out of touch user base finally get schooled on what's happening in the real world.

Their weird attitudes over the last many (about 7) years makes it easy to relish in their scrambling.

This may seem totally pointless to many, but how about some PH developed 303, 808, 909 and SH-101 racks? ReBirth was so cool and is an awesome PH legacy, and I personally would love to see them expand on that idea within Reason (with modeled, not sampled, 808 and 909).
Yes I'm aware that ReBirth can be piped in, and various REs/Kong cover this ground too, but...ya know?

This is so amazing. Adding vst support gets rid of 99% of my gripes. I actually prefer the RE concept over vst when it comes to ease of authorization and stuff but was stuck on not being able to use only a handful of essential vst plugins that would never be ported for various reasons. Now I can.. I will definitely be buying some RE's as well now for some stuff I use that offer a RE version and also be able to use my essential vst's and not have to worry about each and every developer making a RE version :)

I'm hoping they add

full (beyond 12 tones) microtonal support

fix the import midi and allow us to import midi to selected track without creating a new track every time but also have the current option as well for when you want to add New tracks for midi files

Bring back the audition audio effects patches in the mixer before loading the patch again

Add some more edit/midi view options so the piano roll can be larger when editing midi

Auto cross fades would be amazing and speed workflow up a ton

More Audio editing enhancements?

I can't think of Anything else!

Currently looking into buying Reason myself, have been demoing a while. The VST thing is interesting, even before this announcement I was of the opinion that the whole RE thing was a bit lacking in quality, and the Propellerhead shop is just a bit aesthetically naff imo. If I were to buy any RE now it would only be those developed by Props themselves though...

But for me bringing the GUI up to date is of far greater importance, vector graphics and zooming on the rack is sorely needed. Scrolling up and down the big mixer is not a pleasant experience.

Also, +1 for microtonal support!

Still all that said, there is something appealing to me about Reason, it has a playful charm about it. Hope to see even more developments on the way.

multiple time sigs? :D

+1 for multiple time sigs!

You'll get a Jordan Rudess endorsement, and free demonstration video, with 457 time signature changes in one song, if you implement that function. :P

What do you mean exactly? Reason supports multiple time signatures. Just edit automation for the time signature and you can set it to whatever and change that during the song. :)

don't u plan to reset the time trials in the RE shop (pls. pls. pls. RE-trial, or RE-boot) there are tons of new possibilities I'd like to try :D with VSTs, it would be so nice (or for 1 euro, or for some minimal cost)
