Just remembered that this is a better place to mention that Omni 2.5 will be officially released by the end of the month, according to Spectrasonics on social media.

BTW, they also said over 1,000 new patches to go with it, I guess all created on the hardware integration thingy (but of course available to all users)

Will be great, once the NDA's disappear, to see what all you beta-testers have been up to

You know I keep reading about an NDA.
And I have read their documentation, and re-read it awhile ago before I even commented on the patches being incomplete, and I don't see anything about an NDA.......
Which as a public beta I am not surprised.
But yet I keep hearing about NDA.
Maybe these old eyes are just missing stuff now

Huh - can't see it either now I look again, but I'm sure I did see it - maybe it was on the sign up page which has gone away for me now I've signed up?

Maybe, I even went back to the emails I have gotten from them, at sign up and when there are new beta updates and couldn't find it.
Would be strange to have a public beta with an NDA I think, when any Omnisphere 2 user can have access to the beta.
Anyway they still sound fantastic.

Strange or not, the only Omni 2.5 content on youtube comes from those who grabbed footage at Superbooth 2018.zvenx wrote:Would be strange to have a public beta with an NDA I think, when any Omnisphere 2 user can have access to the beta.

It wasn't specifically an NDA. When signing up, there were some bullet points you were basically agreeing to. One of them stated something about not discussing or showing videos of it.

Are you saying Eric has broken the NDA?

Ahhh.
Strange I don't have a copy of that.
So to reiterate, I am not sure what I was talking about that sounded great
Also here is James confirming end of August.
