If you have 10, you have it as a native device. If you have 9.5, works fine on my end. What’s it doing on yours?quantize wrote:It's not very impressive when the plugin doesnt run in the flagship VST host

I think people are falling into an Reason upgrade trap here... they did the same thing with Rack Extension's, dangle a carrot strategy, like "hay.. look we made a VST out of one of our instruments, oh you can get it free if you upgrade, before a certain date"... They will trickle feed this tactic to you over the next few years...till that stops being effective.
I mean Propellerheads have already stated that there WILL BE NO NEW VERSION OF REASON THIS YEAR. The reality is that.. Propellerheads take their user base for mugs, and they have been doing this for years now, ever since the intervention of RE's... Seriously, they have been playing every trick in the book... Spamming people with emails about RE's constantly, ripping people off with bundles, half price sales.. and all of which you'll never be able to sell including this VST...
This was one of the main reasons I switched daws, because of their marketing tricks they use and pulled...
Even this offer is a slap in the face for Propellerhead users themselves and they can't even see that. This a native instrument that is supposed to be exclusive to those who own Reason, but no... they give it away so it's not, and people swallow the bait that's it's some how dumbed down because it''s not in the rack.. but he reality is, it doesn't make a blind bit of difference, it's still the same instrument. But Reason fanboi's will hail them with gratitude... yet the fundamental problem they are skirting around is the 18 year old tiny rack they created and has never been bigger than it is now in height and actual width, a core part of the program. And remember boys and girls...VST was right on the table 10 years ago.
Propellerheads don't care about their users, they only care about the money and their share holders.

So? ..it's marketing. Every company does that.I think people are falling into an Reason upgrade trap here... they did the same thing with Rack Extension's, dangle a carrot strategy, like "hay.. look we made a VST out of one of our instruments, oh you can get it free if you upgrade, before a certain date"... Marketing! I just open my mail inbox and find 20 other companies that does exactly the same... Seriously, they have been playing every trick in the book... Spamming people with emails about RE's constantly, ripping people off with bundles, half price sales..
There is a whole list of companies that doesn't allow you to sell or transfer any license. I never bought any license with the intent to sell it, but I do agree that all companies should allow it.and all of which you'll never be able to sell including this VST...
They don't give it away. They sell it to those who doesn't have Reason 10. Reason 10 owners get it for free. This a native instrument that is supposed to be exclusive to those who own Reason, but no... they give it away so it's not
Just want to add that I own 4 different DAWs. My main DAW is FL Studio 20. Second most used is Studio One 4, and then Reason. My Bitwig doesn't get so much love at the moment but that might change later on. So, I am no Reason fan boy. What's clear is that you are a Reason hate boy. It's okay not to like a company. I bet all KVR members have some or a few companies we don't like, but if you want to make a good argument you should stick to the facts and tone down your emotions. It's a bit hard to take your post seriously. I am sure you will see my post as if I am trying to pick a fight with you, but I just want to highlight that for a good argument stick to the facts and have less emotions implemented in the text.

Not to let the truth get in the way of another of your Propellerheads rants but the quote from Mattias on the Propellerheads blog is:THE INTRANCER wrote:
I mean Propellerheads have already stated that there WILL BE NO NEW VERSION OF REASON THIS YEAR.
we have decided there will not be any paid upgrades to Reason this year
I added the bold for clarity. He also said:
We are aware of some performance issues with VSTs, and trust me, we’re working hard to adress them. Good news is it’s going really well!
...
I can’t give you a date at the moment, but this performance optimization will be available as a free update for all Reason 10 owners later this year

Was about to ask where the heck did he read PH saying that. Hopefully R10.1 won't be the last .x update this year.xylyx wrote:Not to let the truth get in the way of another of your Propellerheads rants but the quote from Mattias on the Propellerheads blog is:THE INTRANCER wrote:

Glad you clarified it
...guess people read what they want to read, not what is written, which sometimes may actually explain why there's different opinions about the same subject when exposed to the exact same facts.

Hey man, you sound very vindictive, take a breather just relax and take your mind off Propellerheads.THE INTRANCER wrote:I think people are falling into an Reason upgrade trap here... they did the same thing with Rack Extension's, dangle a carrot strategy, like "hay.. look we made a VST out of one of our instruments, oh you can get it free if you upgrade, before a certain date"... I actually thought that, after northern hemisphere winter, the amount of bitching would diminish. In fact, it's gotten a lot worse. Guess the seasons don't have anything to do with it, after all.

Found a way to match the font and logo and also matched the colour more precisely so just a small update to the NKS version
Just 3 files need updating from the Dropbox - OSO_logo.png and VB_logo.png (images) and color.json (dist_database)
