Isn‘t it constantly on sale? Spotting PB should be sufficient…

Broken in midi mode on Cubase 14 Pro,
Add Instrument track.
Put Stutter Edit 2 on as an effect.
Add Midi track and route the output from Stutter Edit's input.
Select midi in Stutter Edit, play a key on my midi KB.
Nothing happens.
Working, the midi out put was not connected to Stutter Edit in for some unknown reason.
Me fumbling around.

Got it for $19. Now I just have to figure out how to make my own presets. I assumed it would be easy to create a simple rhythmic tremolo type patch in it, but the gui looks like a damned mess to me. Going to have to read the manual....

The GUI is a bit of a sensory overload indeed. I think the color scheme and futuristic shapes don't help. But once you learn it it's actually not so bad but it's not a plugin you can just open and know how to use without watching a guide or reading the manual at least once.Cuauhtli wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 4:55 pm Got it for $19. I recommend you watch a couple videos on YouTube, first.Cuauhtli wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2024 4:55 pm ...but the gui looks like a damned mess to me. Going to have to read the manual....
It's easier to use than you'd think, but the interface and manual don't give you that sense at all.
PS: And watch a couple of videos: there's videos out there by folks who really didn't know how it worked, either, and are a waste of time. If it makes sense, you found the right video.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

SE 2 just seems like it's a bunch of glitches, sidechains and gates. Thank God I still have v1.

Hi everyone!I'm using Stutter Edit 2 on a kick+bass group in Ableton Live 12.
I trigger SE2 via MIDI and get the desired glitch kick roll in real-time.
However, when I record the processed audio (Audio From: group, Post FX),
the recorded result sounds different — especially higher in pitch and with altered transients.
Warp is OFF, routing is correct.
Is this expected behavior due to SE2 buffering / latency,
or am I doing something wrong in the recording workflow?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
