Waves already backtracking

That’s great! I’ve got pretty much all the waves plug-ins I wanted and most on V14, including StudioRack - so this is great! That alone can keep me keeping up with WUP. I can see if someone isn’t into waves, how subscription could make sense.

Yes, but the chains will work even if you don't own certain plugins. That plugin will just not load

Just different way of looking at it. I am looking at the whole thing positively.

EDIT: It doesn't make sense to try StudioVerse (chains) in the first place if you don't have many Waves plugins. It is aimed at those who use subscription or own a lot of perpetual licenses.

Agree. That being said, I do love Studiorack and it's capabilities for multiband and parallel applications for the Waves plugins I do own.

Agree. That being said, I do love Studiorack and it's capabilities for multiband and parallel applications for the Waves plugins I do own.

It also works with Non-Waves VST3s too. That's where it really gets interesting.

Yeah, it was. Unfortunately, StudioRack is an exception in perpetual purchases and cannot be purchased separately, it's subscription only.

I assume you could still WUP an existing older StudioRack license.
