(That must have been my 87 high school reunion)

Well I guess the demographic is 12 yrs old.

Sorry, wrong forum.

seriously though, i do hope this works out, but a photo of boxes on a palette seems a little desperate :?

I hope it shows up soon too, and I'll be in line with a suitable sized bag of donuts

Historically, I myself have not had exceptional luck in relating to blondes.

MOD Edit - That's enough dude, the thread is nauseous enough already.

I told you a month ago, they're in the boxes. Nothing has changed.

Commentary is no longer allowed at kvr?

sorry
here's some serious stuff, it doesn't address the concerns of preorders nor the MIDI functions we mostly care about here, but hopefully it does offer some reassurance that these products exist and will one day be with us.

News on the Sound Technology, the UK distributer's website, announces it being available to buy in July (for what that's worth):

http://www.soundtech.co.uk/yourockguita ... technology

and it's getting exposure in the UK media:

http://www.soundtech.co.uk/yourockguita ... 9ad7d7b804

http://technology.timesonline.co.uk/tol ... 132440.ece

perhaps this was posted earlier but i saw no reference here.

With declining interest in GH and Rockband one would think III would concentrate on salvaging some relationship with the people who actually bought the product. Instead it's a never ending promo party. They'll do E3 claim to add a new features which causes yet another delay and then claim we are whining because we want the product they promised us, we've paid for but they can't be bothered with shipping it.

Before you get all excited about yourockguitar in the UK. Don't believe everything you read.

http://www.ezgear.com/GS/YouRockGuitar.html
The You Rock Guitar will be available in Q1 of 2010
It's past the first quarter.

Post

yes i know. i didn't actually say i believed it, or was excited (or that i live in the uk - although i do hail from there so tend to follow its media), i just wanted to post something recent and relevant to help get things back on track.

i also confess i'm not one of these pre-order customers, but genuinely interested in controllers of whatever shape or form.

anyway, i'll be happy to post some daft pictures once we all know it was pie in the sky. :)

From Kevin in Yahoo forum !

Miracles coming right up. Sent a few friends the images of the first shipments all in boxes in China ready to be picked up today. You have no idea how much tech there is in this device, we all played with the release code today and couldn't get back to work it was so much freaking fun... Oh yeah, and great.

We start calling everyone tomorrow to confirm configuration and orders, we launch the new web site hopefully tonight.

Big stuff...

He rocks last, rocks the hardest.

Not only desperate, not very convincing either. I mean, who's to say there is anything inside these boxes?

I would be more convinced by a photo of an assembly putting these things together.

There's a pizza joint up the street with stacks of boxes. The proof to me is
still the guitar/sax jam at Musik Messe, the guitar worked, and kept up. Dozens of
gotchas can leap out in the road to the loading dock for even giants like Sony. A
firstrun startup can be a harrowing experience. Time is on uroks side, frothing
customers, not so much. The great photo for that, however, is banned by the
Curmudgeons of Mod. How boring...

Post

for me the most important part is that, they are ready to be shipped and
most likely be shipped today from China, that will take a few days and
then inspired firstly will ship out to the preorders. 8)

I'm still convinced nobody gets one until after the E3 convention. June 18.
