It's scanned correctly but crashes on instance loading.
I created a ticket for it.

Cheers,

Tom
Hey Tom, Thanks for checking into it. I exchanged several emails with Dom about it a few months ago but nothing came of it. My last ticket request was never responded to.

Hi all,
I'm about to take the plunge and buy me a copy of BWS. It's going to fit great in my workflow - it just makes sense. And, it's the only DAW demo I've tried (of 3) over the past few weeks that didn't have a single hiccup on my PC. :tu:

So my question is whether 1.1 will support a Faderport without me having to learn scripting. Bundling BWS and a Faderport with my Sweetwater guy would save me a few dollars, but I can wait on the Faderport if it isn't supported.

So, what's the word?

Thanks.

Why wait? The automation height in the timeline is adjustable in the current 1.0 releases.

Though the 1.1 is looking very nice too. :)

First, congrats on the decision :tu:

Second, the Faderport issue came up before. I don't know if anything has changed but you can take a look here for the answer then:

I'm seeing a lot more controller support than when BWS was first released. However, I would not advise buying BWS based on if the Faderport works, out of the box. I recommend be prepared to learn scripting to get it working if needed.

Tom's generic scripts have worked on most every hardware and more scripts are being added all the time.

I recommend buying Bitwig based on it's own merits. Or consider the package they have developed with Arturia.

Thanks, dsan.

Ordered Bitwig today. After tooling around the scripting resources last night, I'm actually looking forward to trying to script something for my Contour shuttle v2.

My biggest worry as of right now isn't related to scripts, though. It's whether a t-shirt comes in the box like it looks on the website...

Really looking forward to Bitwiggin'. Glad to have finally found a DAW that works the way my mind does. I'll leave ya'll to your beta now.

I bought the box in March on release, I didn't get a T-Shirt but did get stickers. :)

Yeah, that image is really misleading - sorry for that.
There will be merch in the shop at one point too and that image was meant to signify that, but you are not the first to get confused by it. ;-)

I have the faderport on my to-do list actually (although we don't have one yet).
I can assist you with the scripting, just create a thread for it and I'll try to lend you a hand.
Should be pretty straight forward actually.

Don't know the shuttle pro.

^You are probably the best one to test if things are up to your standards.

But there are pdc fixes listed in the release notes if no one has mentioned that yet.

It's a manual actually, which looks like a t-shirt

I am pretty sure the OP of the T-Shirt question was talking about this image;

That is defiantly a T-Shirt. :) But as Tom said its the header for the "webshop", but still could be misleading.
