Another good one, which might be flying under the radar a Bit..
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

I just bought it and on download for Windows, a serious-threat virus is detected: Trojan:Win32/Cloxer. I will try to contact them, but beware.El°HYM wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 8:16 am Another good one, which might be flying under the radar a Bit..

On their siteIf you are a windows user and a false positive is detected by Windows Defender, please send let follow the instructions at the URL below to turn off the real-time protection and then install Stranular. Don't forget to turn it back on after installation.

Anymore details on this ? It is playable or is just purely a granular engine where you drop a sample and it reduces it to grains but you can't play it on keys ?El°HYM wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 8:16 am Another good one, which might be flying under the radar a Bit..
I'm waiting for Novum release to see if that will fix my granular itch depending on price

Its actually a realtime effect not an instrument. The Developer is well known and respected in the Max for Live - Community. https://szk-1992.gumroad.comDigivolt wrote: Wed Jun 08, 2022 3:03 pmAnymore details on this ? Bought Stranular ad a little monkey was behind my shoulders after reading the thread.
I could say that is a little simple, cpu not hungry granular effect but for sure you can not get the results you get with Portal, fragments, silo, mentalV, Crusher X.
I found it very basic for the price tag.
Btw the best granular effects, imho, are created with Reaktor 6.
Check out one of the ensemble of cycle and Spots. They are so creative.

and at the website of curtis road;

at the top.. Emissioncontrol2
(and look around the website, some articles a granular, of course, it is curtis road...)
(both by the way standalone programs, but that is fun!)

Is Grain Scanner is worth it if you already have Pigments? Is there something about the sound quality, workflow, or feature-set of Grain Scanner that adds something to the table?
I've read that some who have both prefer Grain Scanner over Pigments...not sure as to why.
Edit: It appears that Grain Scanner generates up to 1000 grains simultaneously, while Pigments generates up to 256...I imagine that gives Grain Scanner an advantage.
Anyone here with both have any insight to share?

If less is more, imagine how much more MORE will be.
