I generally do not use a simple lfo to add vibrato. you can get ultra realistic results if you happen to have a keyboard with aftertouch and vsampler (and a sampüler which offer the same flexibility in modulation routing). It works like that (especially great for fretless instruments): with the aftertouch I control the zone volume, and the zone volume controls the pitch (but not in a 1:2 relation but just 2 to 10). This way you achieve a very realistic vibrato and you actually do it in a very similar way like a real player: with your fingertips.kevvvvv wrote:Ah ... UBK is superb![]()

I'm already putting together my own velocity layered presets with sharp picks on velocity 127.
Can anyone tell me the best way to add mod wheel vibrato?
Anyhow ... so far it feels like a mini-trilogy

Yeah, I never use the pitch LFO. I always draw my own vibrato with pitch bends because it sounds more realistic. Also, different instruments have different vibrato.
