its not as "fun" as the others.
its got all the elements of disco, but its apocalyptic.
more surovision than actual disco maybe? they do stuff like that, dance tracks about starving people and past wars n shit.

You know what Vurt? You might have hit the nail on the head. It's gloomy. That's something the other tracks were not. I never even thought of that.

I'd have to listen to it again. It's a song my friend Lenny wrote the lyrics for. I don't remember it having a disco beat. Let me check.

I got Torley - Peppermint Pride after your song Wagtunes. I don't know how, i didn't sign up to Sugar Bytes. What a coincidence. Sorry for the irrelevant banter in your thread. (i'll shut up now, hopefully). I'm enjoying "foolish love" again tho. you didn't tell me you had songs which are my cup of tea.

Post

Okay, I never posted this here but I submitted "Foolish Love" for the Synthmaster song contest. I think it's more dance/EDM but you can tell me. I don't hear traditional disco here.

Foolish Love

You told your mother you were in love
And she laughed back in your face
You’re just a little kid you know
You’ve never been anyplace
You’re just a teenage dreamer
Who’s never been kissed or held or hugged
And your mother just kept on mocking you
By saying it’s just a foolish love

You meet in cold dark alley ways
Where the spooks come out at night
But two young lovers are not afraid
When they hold on to each other tight
Cause little girls have feelings too
And you respond well to his touch
But you’ hear your mother in your mind
Saying it’s just a foolish love

And you kept hearing
It’s just a foolish love
You’re too uncaring
To be in foolish love
You’re just a kid
With no will of your own
Forget about love
And spend your nights home alone
You’re too young to be in foolish love
That’s all it is
It’s foolish love

You’re just a kid
With no will of your own
Forget about love
And spend your nights home alone
You’re too young to be in foolish love
That’s all it is
It’s foolish love

thats what stood out to me, it started giving an expectation of something else (not sure, cant put my finger on it, could be that more cheesy boney m disco/novelty song) but then yup, a little gloomy.

given the state of things, its not surprising it snuck in
