I just want to correct my own writing here:
NO, I don't begin to hate Native Instruments.
I was just psyched by the Midiworks-shit and I don't believe MW a single word anymore!

I would like to ask the following people if they would like to try the following amp models:
Killvehicle - 5150
GuitarJeff - SLO
Dimitar - Legacy
SaschaFrank - Fuchs
Apart from Sascha, all people above own the real amplifiers,
so they are best suited for testing and comparing.
Is somebody here owns a Bogner XTC or Shiva, please contact me.
If you're interested please PM me.
Note:
It will take me around one week to prepare those VST for you.
Thanks guys
René

A little suggestion : you can find a very high concentration of high gain and especially 5150 experts on the Andy Sneap forum.Midiworks wrote:I would like to ask the following people if they would like to try the following amp models:

Rene, why not take his advice? Certainly your 4 choices a very good, but 1 person to try out 1 model? That doesn't sound too me like you'll be able to do anything objective with the info. I mean, I think you mentioned that Killvehichle has a combo. While I'm sure he'll be an excellent judge, he can only speak for the combo. The 5150 half-stack sounds different than the combo, as is the case with any amp. Not only that, but when testing, it's hard not to gravitate to the sound we like. So with one person testing each sim you might only get one perspective. A site like that one Mutant mentions might be a good thing to look at if you're going for accuracy...

Thank you Hink, I know you are right.
But I am not worried about the sound,
but rather about feel and response in comparison to the real amplifier.
Even though those two things work very well,
they might not feel right for a player who owns the real amp.
With the info from the guys, I will be able to easily adjust those parameters.
hm..... this makes me think, I could add those controls necessary for that,
then they can adjust it themselves until it feels right.
Thanks again Hink

There's at least another 6 months of development time. So are we talking x-mas 06 now?Midiworks wrote: hm..... this makes me think, I could add those controls necessary for that,

Also, is your plug-in only going to focus on high-gain sounds? For instance are we not going to see any Fender amps, an AC30, or even a JCM800?
I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.

I might tell you in private sonicfire under NDA but not in public.
Here is an idea to shorten the wait for some of you, if you want:
If enough people are interested in a
"single amplifier model",
(I am thinking of the 5150)
This "single amplifier model" can be upgraded later,
for only the price difference between the two versions,
to the full version of our upcoming amp.

I can finish such a VST within two or three weeks.
Any thoughts on this?
Maybe make a poll?
But one thing I have to say, I am really having enough of getting insulted here.
