And you believe right, because its true.

To remove all remainders of doubt, just check the attached animation.

(I found out that clicking the setup button triggers the keyfile scan as well, which allowed me to clear the list and eliminate all the SAVIHost related stuff that necessarily also appears upon shutting down the process. And as you can see, it scans for a couple of Tone2 keyfiles in its own dir and thats it. IMO this is about as unintrusive as it could possibly be, because except for not doing anything at all it would be downright impossible to limit it even more. Thus in my opinion there is absolutely nothing to worry about here.)

Cool. So you finally proved what was already proposed by me and later confirmed by Bastiaan from Tone2. :tu:

I don't know about many sales from Tone2 in the last years but they offer different bundles like e.g. a synth + all soundbanks or the complete bundle with all products (all synths + effects + soundbanks, currently 799€).

Tone2 plugins are also only available at Tone2 at not at other distributors.

Maybe it would be a nice idea to offer a bundle with all 4 Firebird banks for a reduced price.

Same as U-He. The only special offer was during the first public beta of Diva when Diva was not fully finished.

But they "give away" stuff with magazines, Warmwerb and Firbird+ with Beat, BiFilter with CM

And sometimes they do contests where you could win licenses.

Thanks. Both the other layered synths use an onnboard patch system, that's why they weren't affected.

Did you try this already?
Ingonator wrote:The most easy way to test if there is a general problem with Firebird is to create a fresh project with a single instance of Firebird and check if the selected preset is kept after re-loading.

This way it is possible to see if there is a general problem with Firebird or not. If everything is OK after re-loading it should be indeed a problem with a CC message like shown in the screenshot of Halma (post above mine).

They do, but it isn't any more than an equivalent to a ten dollar coupon.

That's why we keep suggesting they do a real 'no-brainer' sale like the other companies do or at least a crossgrade special like the Zebra 'Retire a Dino' offer.

One time a while back, they had a demo writing contest, where you could win a certain amount of their products depending on 1st, 2nd or 3rd place.

But no other sales that I know of. U-He is another one that doesn't seem to do sales.

When people complain so much about freeware i think its really ignorant. Granted, a developer should know there is a problem. But to complain about how something being installed is really just a waste of time. Most of the developers are just normal people like u & me who have an idea go with it & dont try to look back too much. Understand that if u dont like something that someone is giving away for free you dont have to use it . EVERY computer behaves differently with different plugs. Because x, y & z work fine.. The next one might not. Im sorry gentlemen.. thats life! Only bigger companies have the resources to check multiple systems & configurations. Take it for what it is & if its not your cup of tea.. Then leave it at that.
This is such a weird argument. Just because a program is free it can do whatever it wants and those who complain about are stupid? To me it's obvious the ignorant here are those who think that..
