Regarding phaser... but spring reverb got separate knobs for dry and wet! Why not phaser, as well? There's just enough room for it, and it IS more flexible when you can adjust both individually instead of just dry:wet mix. No?

Hello,
looking for the possibility to use Bazille as a real modular, how is it possible to get a sound without sending a MIDI note to it?
Was not able to open the VCA section for a steady tone. Would suggest that at the Volume selector something like Level that you could open the volume as a normal volume.

I think this can be pretty easily simulated - send a single latched/unending MIDI note into Bazille, and use the 'gate' option in a VCA's envelope selector. This still requires a single note-on message. (Having that single note-on does resolve some confusion about what happens when the transport starts and stops, playback of recorded automation, that sort of thing, I guess.)jue wrote:Hello,

Hello,
send a single latched/unending MIDI note into Bazille
This is what I do from Numerology without any problem, but it needs to start Transport or a keyboard with a pressed key.
If you look at the Pan aside the Volume, if you select None as modulation source it acts as a normal pan and this is what is needed at the volume. But I do not know what information for the pitch is needed by Bazille when no MIDI information is present.

PS. Its really great to modulate all the Bazille parameters from Numerology, everything is easy to reach and well documented so you could see the parameter names within Numerology what makes it very nice to work with.

I have thought about this quite extensively. There is no good way to make a polyphonic synthesizer that lets you patch to envelope-less outputs directly. The concept of synthesizer voices unfortunately defies the concept direct routing. You'd always hear all voices in a cacophonic cluster.

I'd say most my music relies in combining Diva (and now Bazille) and Numerology. Pure fun and modulation heaven !jue wrote:PS. Hi!!
Tendentious question: one day, could we have a simple oscilloscope VST/AU as good as Bazille's one?? Bigger possibly
!!!???
Or, if you'll feel brave, a stereo Oscilloscope with Lissajous figures!!!

There is Signaldust's free one, which is even better (more stable) that Bazille's. Plus it comes with analyzer and sonogram.Jhowas wrote:Hi!!
