Weird. All I had to do to get rid of it was go to "uninstall a program" and select Codemeter. Maybe it's not so easy if you're not on Windows 10?

If every developer thinks it's too much work to implement new ideas, then we get nothing new!

The Combinator idea has a good chance of success because there are more than enough Rack Extensions already. Saving a complex patch that contains crazy amount of racks and cabling is a fantastic new idea. It's also profitable and increasees the sales of the REs. In short, it is a new market might link to Reason's workflow, who knows how would users think of new creative workflows?

Regarding the codemeter, I had shit problems with it back years ago, but lately I had zero problems in installing/uninstalling and in a daily use as well :)
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Bitwig 5, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Regarding CodeMeter, yeah, I really can't remember the last time I had issues uninstalling it. Uninstall did the trick the couple of times I didn't need it, mainly because recent Reason versions can work without it, if used on a net-connected computer.
...which incidentally is the case of my main system I built to run Reason (and sometimes Ableton Live), it never had CodeMeter installed.

Cubase users rejoice! We've updated Europa by Reason today and squashed the bug causing the plugin the crash and get blacklisted in Cubase Pro 9.5.

Europa by Reason owners will find the updated download on the VST tab on the Products page in your Propellerhead account.

Version history:

2.0.0d84

Fixed a bug where Europa could become blacklisted and crash in Cubase 9 on Mac.

IIRC, it even was on Windows 10. And, after uninstalling Reason, there was no uninstaller to remove Codemeter. I think it was on my laptop, and i still have Codemeter on there, because i never got rid of it. Might do a clean install on the laptop at some point anyway though, because it's getting slower and slower...

I'm sure this is just the start. Thor, Grain and Parsec will surely follow soon

Really hope for Parsec 2! It's great :)

If Europa does well, I believe Grain and Parsec are easier to happen than Thor, because Thor isn't (yet?) a Rack Extension, having been built in a different way, before the RE tech.

Though, Thor had already some porting done due to the iOS version which might not mean much, at this point.
