When do you think Logic Pro 11 will come out?

Thank you guys. Feeling silly for not trying that, but I expect to come across such things while I get my head around first time ever with a second DAW. I have been an FL Studio user for all these years, but I am glad I finally took the plunge on a Mac as I always had a crush for Logic Pro. Loving it so far barring few frustrating moments, which I hope I will overcome in the next few weeks/months.

A quick question if someone can please help. I have assigned right mouse button as "assignable to a tool". In this case, how can I (still) open the normal right mouse click menu options in the Tracks area? Is it possible at all?

I tried using various key combinations along with right mouse click, but it doesn't work.

I also recommend to keep the shortcuts as the default and try to learn Logic as it is. It has a similar learning curve to Cubase, so it needs some time (especially if someone new to Mac OS).

Thanks, EnGee. Been a follower and fan of MTHG for a few years now and been watching his videos even when I did not use Logic Pro. I am going through all his videos in sequence, and also others like Why Logic Pro Rules. I may consider getting a paid course or something just out of gratitude.

I have already mapped some important shortcuts to my keyboard and mouse (programmable keys/buttons). Any particular reason to keep them as default? I found that to be a bit odd in some cases, so I have already customized a few to make is easier for my muscle memory. But of course, I will try to memorize as much of them in their default state.

I immediately feel that if I could work with any DAW other than FL Studio, it has to be Logic Pro. No offence to Cubase Pro of course, which I tried for some time (without much seriousness though), but I just didn't feel it. Hope I will be able to make the transition to Logic Pro well.

I like both Cubase and Logic! I started with Logic then switched to Cubase when Apple bought it. Now, I have both and mainly use Ableton Live Anyway, I use all at default shortcuts and with time I could remember the every one's shortcuts (like switch playing from PS to Xbox to Switch!). So muscles memory is not an issue.

Logic is a great choice however. Let's see future versions what they bring and what their price policy would be.

All DAWs are great. We just need to find the one that works best for us.

I really have no idea! I don't expect a major change, however, especially they just now have done a "similar" edition in iPad.

It hardly matters if they call it 10.8 or 11... over the last few years they have released some impressive updates. Over that time, I would say Logic is the fastest developing DAW.

Yeah, agree. I am new to Logic Pro, but I read the revision history briefly and I was quite impressed with its development. I think I have made the right move at the right time.
