I personally hate envelope visualizations... unless it's something complex like an MSEG. Please no ADSR visualizations.

I think the idea of desaturating the modulation slots not in use is pretty nice.
Maybe the ADSR idea is a bit superfluous as adding a graphic visualisation will not scale well with the different time scales of the ADSR module. Unless there is a way to show that information in a way which is consistent with the interface.
Also, perhaps I have missed a few past conversations, but what are the disadvantages of using the approach used by plugmon for merging parameter+modulation parameter into one single knob, compared to the one actually used on Zebra 2.7, and as it seems, in 2.8?

Plugmon's idea necessitates familiarity with the way Zebra works (and apparently Massive, heh), having a separate knob makes it more obvious from the get go.

Yes, wrongly formulated as indeed it's taken from Massive
It would, but I actually have found it easier to read when I use the massive skin. Perhaps an influential factor on my side is that I was already familiar with Massive and Serum, before starting using Zebra.
I find the lack of labels or the fact that they share the same colour and graphic as the nearby target parameter a bit confusing, on the regular gui. While the overlay used in Massive/Serum/Thorn/Plugmon gui and similar makes it a bit easier to use/read.
A nice alternative can be found on Bazille, where the mod knobs are labelled and the signal path is elegantly displayed with unobtrusive arrows and lines. I really like that. The atlantis template shown few posts ago has some ideas on that direction but there are indeed too many colors and it's in general a bit too much.
But I am not part of the close beta testing group and I have no idea how is the new gui in actual use. Are there new zebra adopters in the close beta testing group?

I forgot to add though that Zebra, even with the current interface, is the best of all the plugins I have mentioned earlier

Urs & co.,
Any chance Zebra 2.8 will come with more factory presets? I've enjoyed the breadth of the ones just released in Repro-5 and would love to have some updated factory presets for the striped machine (other than the 10th anniversary ones). If not for 2.8, will Zebra 3 come with more presets from a variety of sound designers?

A 500+ presets factory bank is more important for a new synth for which there are no 3rd party preset banks available.fourthmanfire wrote:Urs & co.,

I think, had we known that it'd take so long to focus on Zebra3, we might have added more presets to Zebra2 a few years ago.

Will there be improvements to ZebraHZ? (like stereo filters)Urs wrote:A 500+ presets factory bank is more important for a new synth for which there are no 3rd party preset banks available.fourthmanfire wrote:Urs & co.,
