Is it a subscriber only thing (that clearly I don't have)?Sample Logic wrote:Wed May 08, 2019 12:54 pm As a loyal Sample Logic customer, we’d like to offer you a special code to receive an additional $50 off the intro price of MAP. This means that you get the all new MAP for just $199.99, instead of $349.99. That is a $150 savings!

You get $50 off if you’re a Soundiron customer or if you purchased something at AudioPluginDeals before.samsam wrote: Mon May 13, 2019 3:59 am What's the 'email discount'?

Seems quite interesting too. Had the PSP widener and still have the PA version, but this one seems peculiar indeed.

This is the first time Sample Logic is doing this. They used to do a pop up SampleCast live stream a couple of days before the intro ended and gave out a discount to everybody who watched. Then they made it kind of a competition where you had to answer a quiz question during that live cast. Now they are just sending the discount to everybody who owns Soundiron or Sample Logic libraries.

Could work if it’s sold on that site. Otherwise I don’t think so.SirKen wrote: Mon May 13, 2019 2:08 pmCan you combine that discount voucher with a gift card from AudioPluginDeals website?

google is just the registrar (company used to make the registration) - the registrant (owner of the domain registration) isn't disclosed, but that's normal in a post GDPR world.macmuse wrote: Mon May 13, 2019 1:46 pmA quick look shows the domain is registered to Google, since 2017.hhuang9611 wrote: Sun May 12, 2019 10:41 am Use code pa-cubase10 to get another 10% off Cubase 10 Elements, Artist, Pro and their crossgrade!

However, I have never heard of this plugin alley![]()

Melodyne 4 pitch correction has possibly become even worse than 3.Harry_HH wrote: Sat May 19, 2018 6:18 amSo, one should wait....either ReVoice upgrade with ARA, or Melodyne 5, with a better quality pitch correction.Uncle E wrote:You're going to love it. ARA compatibility was the main thing that made me switch from Cubase to Studio One. Revoice is not ARA compatible but VocALign Pro and Project are. ReVoice's pitch correction won some big, quasi-official blind test and I personally thought it sounded better than Melodyne in that test but I still prefer to use Melodyne because of ARA.counterparty wrote:I use Reaper, and it's getting the direct access so that you don't have to print your tracks into the plugin before tuning. I guess the alternative to Melodyne Studio is Revoice (which is a bit more expensive, but does aligning as well as pitch correction). Any thoughts?![]()
I own Melodyne 3 editor and plugin, never upgraded to the Melodyne 4, because the core of the software, quality of the vocal pitch correction was not improved at all.
I could upgrade my Melodyne 3 to 4, just because of the ARA and versatile polyfonic editing, but as we can see in the above sales price chart, you pay the same money of upgrading the earlier versions (Studio 1 etc.). I think the upgrade price 3->4 should be lower than that, e.g. $ 69. With the JRR discount, that would be lucrative.
I´m afraid that when the Melodyne 5 comes (soon?), the upgrade price for the ver. 4 owners are the same as for the earlier version, as here in this case.
BTW - does the Melodyne 4 support Win 10 iLok licensing? The Melodyne 3 didn´t work, here´s the Celomony reply: "The older Melodyne versions have older iLok libraries in them which can cause issues on latest Windows 64 bit systems. That’s why the issue here can show up, especially on Windows 10. Best wishes, Jörg Hüttner".
Pro Tools Flex Pitch sounds much better, although uncomfortable to use.
