I was planning to use it to scare my little guitar pupils: "if you don't get that chord right Jens will come and eat your leg"

that's just cruel to say! :hihi:

You know it does - it takes one single tiny moment out of a movement (which is a series of an infinte number of moments) - taking photographs of eating people is never a good idea (unless you don't like the person :hihi:) - that's why the most important skill of a photgrapher of people is to know the right moment... :)

Ough pHz a bit rude language but at least back on topic,

Yes I was trolling but not without thinking about it.
I don't know if you have the same feeling about audio software products.

I have the feeling they don't produce the best products they can anymore.
I have the feeling marketing took over a lot off product direction.
The last movement Native Instruments (komplete) is doing made me write this.
I do understand it is hard for a company to stay alive.
I prefer to be loyal but I don't like the gambling when choosing a product.
Also remember the price - content info we got about T2 upgrade.

I really hope I'm wrong this time and mackie will keep musicians and software as main goal.

Sorry for my not native English speaking.

Thank you,
Thenk you,

without going into specifics (which makes this pretty tough but youll have to give me the benefit of the doubt) ...

... from what i can see mackie (while obviously having to survive as a business and make some profit) in no way want to abandon T2 and its userbase ... indeed its my guess that Ts future extends way past version 2 all things being equal ...

... but in general yes i agree to some extent ... there are companies out there that get the balance between quality control ... customer service ... selling units ... ALL wrong

I hereby confess that I've got a stuffed animal like a little boy...

Post

I hae a huge raft of stuffed toys from my game-developer days, used to get 'em at the office and as swag from the GDC (Game Developers Conference) here in Silicon Valley. Got more from girlfriends so I have quite the collection! Now that I'm getting back into gamedev, I think I need more... :-o

I don't have the splatcat yet, but I'm going to order one to sit on top of my work PC soon!

Maybe I'll write a game called "Road Kill". I can use Tracktion to create the music for it... :hihi:

I miss my Goo-Goo! (Stuffed sock monkey when I was two)

I once spent some time in Joe Barbarra's (sp?) office, of Hanna and Barbarra--he had every surface, including much of the floor, covered with stuffed toy versions of all their cartoon characters. They ranged in size from inches to as big as me, all in bright colors. I liked the life-sized deep blue Yogi the Bear best. Great office!

When I run into one of the ten thousand things I can't/don't have time to do, provided I have enough money (I'm self-funded) I'll drop you a PM. :hihi:
