Who is the creator? Is he even credible? I'm fearful of new developers charging so much. Like someone else previously said in this thread, this could be another ishan psychoacoustic phenomenal adaptive niche limiter.

My question might be stupid.. but why is such a plugin released, as there are already thousand very good ?
I'm thinkng about POsihfopit, which is free and amazing, and also the commercial Equim and FIrium.
What else does this one have ?

Apparently it has premium quality for professionals...sinkmusic wrote:What else does this one have ?
Means you and I will probably not even hear the difference - luckily, I've got more than enough stuff on my wishlist...
We don't need to worry about this any more than the difference in sound quality between karmasynth and a full blown hardware modular synth.

This EQ sounds great.
But with this CPU usage it is only suited for mastering. Think I need one or several of those quad double opteron machines ...
Best wishes, FRitz

This EQ sounds great in all situations I tried until now but most obvious is the great bass response with quality to 5. Very impressive.
Best wishes, FRitz

nuffy needs to see their degrees before dropping the bone and going after somebody else. Buying is of course out of the equation.nuffink wrote:sinkmusic wrote:What else does this one have ?A right bunch of scam artists wrote:scientific-grade code
I hope to see you utilize those third party quotes more often. They are not as embarrassing as your one, often incomplete, sentence yapper attacks.

I was a bit concerned that this company may be leveraging the sick to sell their products so I e-mailed them.

We do not wish to be identified as "hearing aids". As you must realize, there is considerable stigma attached to the very notion that any audio professional would need hearing assistance. So we have to tread lightly. That, specifically, is what motivates our advertised privacy policy on our Web site. We have an eclectic staff comprised of astrophysicists, engineers, and medical researchers. Each of our personnel have at least 35 years of experience in their respective areas. What, in particular, are you looking for? Perhaps I can answer a direct question more readily. David McClain Chief Technical Officer Refined Audiometrics Laboratory 4391 N. I wrote:Hi David, Hearing impairment is a medical condition. I'd like to know that I'm dealing with doctors. I'm sure your products have gone through the appropriate clinical trials, could you provide me with the results. Also the name of your resident clinical audiometrist would be most welcome. Regards ***.
They wrote:Hello ***,
Well, from our perspective hearing impairment is a physical condition that medicine is quite ill-equipped to deal with. The best they have been able to do is a highly damaging procedure that punctures the cochlear structure with a bunch of wires. We can do much better than that without ever touching your tissues. Of course, for some people there is no alternative.
So, in answer to your actual concern about "are we medical doctors"? We are not. We are hearing researchers in the tradition of Alexander Graham Bell, Helmholtz, and Bekesey.

oh, for f**k sakes. Anybody who's interested in such a product will have acoustically treated room, top notch monitoring system and years of listening and tweaking EQs. Nothing is going to convince them to buy something other than the sound. No credentials, degree or whatever nitpicking junk you try to come up with matters.
