For Cubase users: Sytrus 2 doesn't save presets properly.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

I'm so sorry for that.
I was EVEN afraid of buying Sytrus 'coz of that.

Yes, this has been my problem. I might save a Sytrus preset in FL, which saves it to the .fst file type.
But now I can not open this preset if I am working in Sytrus in eXT. Nor can I open any preset that has been made from other users.
So what is the workaround?? Start both FLS and eXT and then copy/paste presets between the instances of Sytrus loaded in each app?

Maybe I should add an option to read an .fst preset into the VSTi/DXi version.

Oh, yes please! This has been something I've wondering about in v1 for some 18 months now.reflex wrote:[Maybe I should add an option to read an .fst preset into the VSTi/DXi version.
I would think that alot of people, about 400+, are going to have a real fit when they realize they can't load all those presets from the Sytrus forum in the VSTi version. I can't believe that JMC points people there to grab presets when there is no way to load them in the VSTi version if a user doesn't have FLS.

Please do. I just ran into this last night for the first time. Loading and saving fxp presets individually in Live is pretty tedious.reflex wrote: Maybe I should add an option to read an .fst preset into the VSTi/DXi version.

I was thinking that it would be truly comfortable if we could load DX7 SYX from the "Preset Browser".
There are tons of them on the internet. I've collected over 750 DX7 Presets from a single site.
When there are a huge amount of presets, we need a convenient way to browse them.
Ok, maybe i'm asking too much now.
