ESC 3.0 Converts from virtual synth??

how ? if the vsti doesnt have a builtin preset selector

I posted this in another thread but nobody replied.

I selected the Preset from within the VSTi, I could switch to any bank or preset I wanted.

OH! I didn't think about that.
I do have some that need the host to change presets.
Try a VSTi that has it's own preset management.
I'm sure ESC will soon support VSTis that don't.

What I've learned from using the latest ESC version:

Sample conversion is superb - works like a charm on every format I've tried.

VST converter requires a host for many VSTs to change presets - I use Chainer or eXT.

I don't really know much about key mapping, which means I've gotten some bizaare conversions with the VST converter.

VST converter after working pretty well for 3 days, is now hanging on every attempted use. I've reinstalled and it's still happening.

ESC staff respond quickly - albeit a bit testy - when you report bugs or ask questions.

A manual would help alot.

Hope this helps somebody. Even with the minor problems, it's still a great program and value.
