I think Aleksey from Voxengo (currently on vacation) plans to implement multi-channel support (up to 8 channels) for all of his plugins. The free OvertoneGEQ is just the test version for this.
Soniformer with multi-channel I/O will be the bomb.

Sorry for the delayed response. I though everyone gave up.. This seems interesting..

Do the compressors feed into one another? or are they just separate compressors in one plugin?

YES THAT WOULD BE PRETTY SICK comming from voxengo.. I will be looking out for that one! I'm wondering tho if the separate ins would be fed to one instance of the effect??

The routing option on this eq is almost EXACTLY what im talking about!! AMAZING!! Now I just need a compressor with somewhat the same attribute...

I think Aleksey of Voxengo is planning to upgrade all his plugins in the future to this new routing flexibility. Unfortunately this will probably take quite some time so it might not be a good solution to you.

Guess I'm just ahead of the times.. DAM.. I wonder if the technology is being incorporated from some other plugin technology or they are creating it from scratch??

Ok now that I've seen that EQ from voxengo I've come up with another scheme that explains my search.. Basically a plugin that has mulitple outputs like a vst(i)synth, has it's own effects rack with only compression

and has the ability to record from assignable inputs with a 'line thru' option to its built in effects unit that can be routed out to any output. Honestly I think between this and better audio transient detection, Developers could cash in on the next big wave of technology for audio production.. I guess I will come back to this in a year or so..

Transmatic thats cool.. Although its not exactly what I'm lookin for it works very well, good job.. I'm wondering if it would be out of the question to create a plugin in SE that could route audio inputs to assignable audio outputs (like a VSTi sampler)???? Maybe we can work together on this?
