The answer, apparantly, is no.

Btw in the same line of thoughts, how do you compare WiZoo verb to Altiverb?

There's a demo for Altiverb -

Bit pricey for my tastes, but the CPU usage looks good.

Thanks I'll look into it.

I think wizooverb is the most natural and transparent sounding reverb out here. I prefer it to altiverb personally (as well as most other verbs i've tried, wizooverb truly has a great sound), but naturally it's always best to demo and go off your own taste, just giving my opinion.

These people are out of their minds. I have a lot of verbs and NONE of them come close to the W2. To my ear, the Wizoo Verb sounds as close as I have heard to a top of the line hardware unit. A great algorithmic combined with IR is the best of all worlds.
I have not tried the CSR, I recently purchased the Arts Acoustic (which I like very much, but I am still learning how to tweak it to my taste).
The W2 works fine now, but will it work down the road…in Vista or 64? Or UB?
To abandon a product of such high caliber speaks very poorly of the company that acquired it. I do not regret my purchase. There was talk at the time of the demise of this product. What I do regret is that some ignorant fool (probably a bean counter) decided that this product was not worth supporting (even though it is serious competition for both hardware units and Altiverb - at a fraction of the price).
Arts Acoustic seems a well run company - very good support, an extremely fair license, and no ridiculous copy protection scheme that forces otherwise honest users to go find a crack to protect their investment (oh, and grab a few of that companies other products on the way out).

Perhaps, rather than being angry, I should just "encourage" this company to re-consider this decision. I might write a letter (that will most likely be tossed or ignored).

It's back... http://www.audiomidi.com/wizooverb-W2-P6820.aspx
I just had to try a copy at that price and hear what all the buzz is about - hope it works OK on a Pentium-M in Tracktion. I guess it's going away at some point in the future (aren't we all? :hihi: )
