great (though i like the first bestdasdeck wrote:hey NickCrow, TubeDriver VST (0.77) is still cpu hogging! what did you change?
some renders of my knobS. i'll try to dig two whole into the golden body and stick red glowing to the drive-signal amout (like glowing tubes) crystals into it.
some variations. i like the third best.
ideas? suggestions?

why not put the tube right in the middle of the knob?
of course it shouldn't turn as you move the knob ... just a thought ... would be unique ... well ... at least i did not see it elsewhere ...

I'd prefer the TSV one... just add a tube in this "rack" (it doesn't even need to glow, it's just for the eye) and we're good to go. (or add a custom skin engine in general so that everyone can be pleased)
However I'd love to have volume and percentage indicators rather than indicators from 0-10.

i admit, i prefer this GUI, as it has a more classic look, and a tube driver is a classic tool.TSV wrote:I have also spent the last couple hours designing a gui for tubedriver. Any suggestions?
mine would look great as a chromeless window for a spacy delay or something.
I'd say go for TSV's GUI.
P.S: hey TSV, are there Textures on the Knobs (i mean that CD like Circle)? Is it 3D based or how do you work?

Yea everything on the panel is 3d. I used photoshop radial tool to make those trails and then used the anisotropic shader to create the brushed frying-pan effect for the knob.dasdeck wrote:i admit, i prefer this GUI, as it has a more classic look, and a tube driver is a classic tool.TSV wrote:I have also spent the last couple hours designing a gui for tubedriver. no offence TSV,it's just those big old tubes give it that wow factor.
