Hye Paul... Thanks! But oddly, the plugin won't install? Hmmm... says it is, but I can't find it, and it doesn't show up in Logic? What the? I'm stumped...

Did you look into your components folder, DHR53?
Sometimes installers don't "touch" the folder, and in that case Logic won't even start to look at the component on startup.

There are 3 kinds of people:

Yea, for some odd reason it doesn't seem to be installing anything... It shows an AU package and a VST package in "receipts" but no component in the compnents or VST folder... And Logic AU manager says it's not there either? I have no idea what the proble is? Has anyone else got the AU version working on a Mac???

No problem! I'm sure he'll figure it out... may just be the installer!

I'm not 100% sure what you guys did here, but it sounds wonderful. Well done!

Although I may have to read the manual, dammit. More subtle than I thought...

hehe, thanks funxi, The manual is a nice easy read with some interesting info as once again it was done by Simon Cann.funkychickendance wrote:I'm not 100% sure what you guys did here, but it sounds wonderful. Well done!![]()

I am the original "Manual? What's that all about?" guy. What I'm liking about the revamp is (a) the way it finds compatible sounds and lists them in one place and (b) the appeal it has to my laziness. Match up your menus, and you're off: 'phased Fairlite? coming right up, sir.'

The cause of the problem on Macintosh was the installer and an update will be available shortly.
We apologize for the problem.
