THE way to install Arturia (non-iLok) plugs

Hi gizmo,

What version of CS80, Modular, etc. is listed on the CDs? Perhaps the "complete package" has CDs with updated versions.

If they are the original versions (eg. 1.0) you should be able to install via this method, and then update to current versions via dropping in new .dlls and updating the registry for the Challenge/Response Key.

As Hyber said, Prophet and Jupiter require Synchrosoft, so this method doesn't work for them.

Hi Kevin, I can't be 100% positive, since I installed on my Mac, and obviously PC/Receptor could be a different version, but my moog modular is v2.2, the CS80v is 1.6 on the Mac. I'd assume the versions would be the same.


Hyber .. i actually did export DISPLAY=:1 as per item 3 of step 5 ... should it be 0?


Also, I'm able to launch CS80v, moog modular, arp 2600 with no dongle on the Mac.

I think no PC at home means I'll be doing any updating of these apps strictly thru Muse/plugorama .. if I can get them installed at all.

No my bad (failing memory cells). :1 is correct.

If my memory is correct, I was able to get only the "next to latest" version of these working. pretty sure CS80V 1.6 didn't work, while 1.5 did. Thinking 2.0 or 2.1 worked on Modular, but not 2.2. I will check the versions on my Receptor when I get home.

Unfortunately, it looks like Arturia doesn't keep "back versions" on their updates ftp site, only the most recent version

These are the versions I have running on Receptor. Anything newer than these I could not get the installer to run via WINE:
