rurik, the diagrammatic walk-throughs for the sounds of nature 'suite' are great. instructive, interesting and illuminating. have you done anything similar for noisemo and svati?
i noticed btw that noisemo/svati/oscine tract/synsect are all, subjectively, peculiarly reminiscent in sonic character, in their different ways, to Yamaha's 70's CS range of synths. and your description of thunder (that's as far as i've got...) reminiscent of my CS-60 (noise as a mod source!
). If you haven't tinkered with one before, and you get the chance, do.
*edit* ok, so maybe someone else should ask you.

diagrams? osc > filter > amp. you're trying to get me to think about rick astley tho.
yammies? never used one, noted they seem to have a decent arch. for pricerange.. chris' filters are used in all but o.t., which is entirely wg so no standard oscs or filters. must have found the cs-60 place in your heart. maybe they're ~the same density or :p

you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

that's a terrible thing to say.xoxos wrote:you're trying to get me to think about rick astley tho.
indeedy. they have a few interesting tricks. yammies are good. always thought they were under-rated. mine are 30 years old on average, and still haven't turned turtle, which is much appreciated. think of the cs-5 as a good pair of flip flops. with 1 osc. and 37 toes...xoxos wrote:they seem to have a decent arch. for pricerange..
i'm not lugging my 60 up to the bathroom to find out.xoxos wrote:must have found the cs-60 place in your heart. maybe they're ~the same density or :p
the nature stuff gave me a brainwave (it's ok, i'm fine now) for my electronic music for kids thing btw. so, thanks for that, and thanks for replying.
