I noticed that, some of it was pretty cool over all............evh wise at least.
I was also impressed with dlr, I would think he'd have lost what he had considering!

The EVH one is, according to Simon Bradley at Guitarist, the finest playing guitar he's ever tried.
So while I suspect it will only be bought by collectors they did at least do a good job on it.

I have to say that my experiences with expensive guitars have generally been unsatisfying. But my experiences with cheap guitars have been too! I think it's the middle ground where the best kit is to be had - from about £300-£700 or so. That covers my Parker PM-10, my Ibanez Talman and MMM1 and my G&L ASAT. I'd go so far as to say that my PM-10 is better than my Nitefly which cost more than twice as much.
