When you charge money for software you have a certain obligation to fix bugs within a reasonable timeframe. Total silence is not the way to treat paying customeres. He could learn a thing or two from Urs and WilliamK...ttoz wrote:that's just Lennard, we have two choices, take it or leave it. that's it, he won't change, just like apple won't. it is what it is.

When you buy a product, you buy it as is... especially when there's a demo available. Developers are not obligated to anything besides giving you the product that you paid for. It is nice when updates are made though.
Lennard is still answering questions, just not about future updates on the forum. Why not send him an email and see if he replies to you personally?

So what are you saying here?????djanthonyw wrote:When you buy a product, you buy it as is... especially when there's a demo available. Developers are not obligated to anything besides giving you the product that you paid for. It is nice when updates are made though.
Obviously the 'bug' is making the product unfit for purpose and therefore he needs to fix it in a reasonable timeframe or you can get your money back.
No, that Glitch is meant to be there.....

It's starting to look like Lennard couldn't care less about it. But if I could get the same amount of money he did from the Group Buy in december, I couldn't care either.mbncp wrote:That was about 8 month ago ... still looking ... ?Lennard wrote:Happens here too, thanks for reporting! I'll look into it.

Perhaps Leonard is hoping that the memory leak will eventually make us forget!

The good news is that I'm not developing any synths (the memory leak is already messed up my brain), maybe better this way..Aloysius wrote:I won't be buying anything off of you so!

be really cool when Lennard does release an update as i want to upgrade to Cubase Studio 5 where tests for Windows 7 are underway.I also look forward to vst3 implementation.Cubase handles Sylenth really nice already with track presets etc .
Be very cool when Sylenth goes to the next level ,Gladiator has and is getting another upgrade (midi-learn) soon.I use them all the time, lovely modern vst synths ,aah what a beautiful place my studio is!

Lennard is still answering his emails about customer support and licence issues. How do I know. He answered me within 12 hours the other day.
Look guys I can sense your frustrations, but I personally believe that Lennard is up to something good and if that means Sylenth 2.5 or even 3 then it will be worth the wait. He is basically a 1 man show and the more he answers certain issues means the less he can meet his own deadlines.
I'm sure he has a life outside music drinking all that Dutch beer but I bet his main love is music. If you haven't heard anything by Xmas time then I'd have some concern. Meanwhile enjoy the latest soundbanks from the greatest sound designers.
Cheers

I have no doubt he's up to a good upgrade. I certainly hope it didn't take a year to add alternate skins!
It would just be nice if he dropped a line once in a while in his "support forum" here... a couple minutes out of a day would be much appreciated by everyone I'm sure.
