Well soundbanks, provided that you like the general orientation of them, are just :

1/ Hundreds of hours spent by other people that you won't need to spend yourself.
2/ Hopefully very pleasurable and ready to play instruments wich will find their place in a flash in a mix (see our EQless, CompLess audio demos for that)
3/ Categorized instruments to save you time and efforts and avoid you browsing endlessly presets ( Then you can use the nice U-He favorite utility to tag yours)
5/ And presets should also be seen as time saving and fully usable starting points to customize and adapt to context your own instruments.(Thats why we try to make them as expressive and musically adaptable as possible)
6/ As well as a good starting basis to hopefully gain some quick experience in sound design by deconstructing the instruments and see how they were made
7/ Something wich can also be of some help is the manual, in wich we tried to provide some usefull tips and tricks for ACE.

I know its might be a surprise for anyone reading this but the "making of" a soundbank like ACE Steroids represents together with the audio demos and all the side stuff like the PDF manual, quality checking, audio demos aso .......... at least a full month of work 8 hours a day and short coffee breaks.

So well I think its whats people get when purchasing one of our soundbanks : Equivalent of one month work, dedication and love for the price of two Big Macs

Thank you. I bought the set the other day and after several hours of digging through all the patches I found 10 patches that I favorited (which is a lot for me as I don't favorite just any patch.) I have been finding the patches fairly expressive and fun to use. It's fun to see how ACE can be used in so many different ways. Thanks

Thanks for reporting back Loquat, and also very glad that you could find some inspiring instruments in Ace Steroids.

Non favs patches might be usefull one day or another too. This just applies to myself but some of my monday's favs will be different on friday's

Yes ACE is very versatile, like most good synths, and then its all that you intend to do wich will make the difference.

Yes one of the (Billions ) French laws specify that the conditions of sales are :

1/ Mandatory for distance sales (ie not only internet sales but also sales on catalogs with postal delivery aso)
2/ That they should be written in ......... French

Basically : all that the conditions of sales specify is that the products are non refundable due to their digital nature.

Then you have quotations of the French laws wich justify this

Well its France my dear, the only country who could compete with ex USSR in terms of bureaucracy
