Btw, now I'm getting full use of V2 automation in Reaper. Only thing to remember is not to have the synth GUI visible if there's any active automation, which means bypassing the envelopes when editing the GUI.
So not really a big deal after all. Easiest is to make a shortcut to the action: 'Global automation override: Toggle bypass all automation'.

No, Sir. V2 speaks with an English accent. We tried to figure out how an English speaker would try to memorise German words. So instead of "eins, zwei, drei, vier" we wrote "ains, zwae, dry, fear" and V22 came up with "!EYnz!zwAE!drAY!fIYr". Which we eventually turned to "!AYnsz!zWHAY!drAY!fIYr" by trial and error. Then you have to push and pull the midi note events so that the vowels are on the beat.V'ger wrote:Hey that's pretty cool, did u change phonetics to german?
You can find an exported midi file from our Reaper project here:

I tried ur midi file and text but didnt get the same result so i guess you changed the patch settings too?

So we tweaked the patch a bit.

Tataah! Here you are: ready to use for all. (Damn, this will probably cost us some votes ...)

Hi there,
that's what I come up with right now using the the speech synth engine.
http://www.box.net/shared/kg0unvkpybvpextznr63
http://www.box.net/shared/7j4fxcqzvasukku7hgh9
didn't get cc 4 or 5 to work yet either...
btw, I'm using FL Studio 10 also experienced that it crashes/freezes when using more than one instance of farbrausch V2 trying the close the project/FL Studio.
atm, I'm using just one multitimbral instance and it works without problems but I don't know how to route it to different mixer channels (in FL Studio).

Or change to another project...capdanX wrote:btw, I'm using FL Studio 10 also experienced that it crashes/freezes when using more than one instance of farbrausch V2 trying the close the project/FL Studio.
I know this, i know this
I can't route different channels neither. So i'm using the single version.
I will pass about the synth speech at last.

You down with OSC (Yeah you know me)Yeager wrote:Can anyone understand what I'm trying to say/sing here ?

Who's down with OSC (Every last homie)
well, tbh I really don't understand the second word.
I ... my O-S-C
where is my O-S-C
btw, I got CC# 4 to work now, it was easier than expected.
I always tried to "link a controller" in FL Studio Midi Out but I just had to set the CC number for the corresponding knob. So, now I can change the lines BUT there's something that bugs me (even before).
When I change a text in a speech line sometimes (very often - I don't know when and why) it adds other words ot it. Seems to be a serious bug with copy and paste. Anyone know how to avoid this.

http://www.kvraudio.com/db/br404_by_farbrausch
seemed improved in many aspects...although as it's not in my vst folder i suspect i had some issue with it.dunno

u can organize a One Effect Challenge if u wish in effects forums.abstractcats wrote:OK![]()
So, I've been doing a lot with time stretched audio and I've come up with the idea for an OSC using only Paul's Extreme Stretcher.
I've done this
http://soundcloud.com/abstractcats/torchkaosecho
I should say that I did this on some really cheap head phones, I did get a great pair of KRKs and I'll be remixing this and more.
With only Extreme Sound stretcher and thought it might be a good "challenge".
The FX are Arto Vaarala's Kirnu and some reverb and EQ.
Now to see if ant one else likes the idea
actually would be quite interesting.
but for the instrument forum it's irrelevant

Well, the worst thing with BR404 is that you could practically take one day to make a proper* sound because this synth is super complex to tweak.
*A basic sound even.
Or course we tried and tested it, but due to his slow workflow we just droped it.
This month it would have been nice to make a track with Ultrasonique, people know about this one, its very inspiring and no crashes practically.
Let's see if we could use it for the next month, due has been too voted and it will be in the next 10 synths list as "rescued" one.
Have a good day
EDIT: Yeager said with V2 something like:
I want my O-S-C!
Where is my O-S-C?
I got a laugh everytime i heard the "Ceeeeeeee" haha.
