I was thinking that it doesn't really show case the synth that much because I used effects. However that is what happens when the sound gets mixed into a track.

Let me know if this helps anyone get a feel for Diva. In my opinion the Oscillators sound particularly strong. I had no trouble at all getting a bass sound I liked and usually that is the hardest part for me.

Hi,
i just started recreating some Minimoog sounds based on patchbooks i found in the web. For better comparison and for adjusting the parameters i got the 15 days evaluation version of Arturia Minimoog V.

Here is a comparison (wav file) of the same preset, first in Diva and then in Arturia Minimoog V (Arturia starts around 1:38 ):

This is a single instance of each synth and no internal or external FXs were added.

I think this shows which problems the Arturia synths got in comparison to Diva or the real thing...

to post. But here you go. Controls being manipulated are in the PL Filter-Transistor Ladder. Left and right set to env 1, Cutoff, the two knobs directly below each selector windows (env ) and the the knob directly below FM Ocs 1.

I've got Minimonsta and Samplemoog and have compared them with Diva and also demoed Arturia a while back, they are not bad but I would trade all the mini emulations there is for Diva.

To be fair Diva uses more CPU and I'm sure the other companies could make something similar at the same CPU cost, but the difference is U-He makes this available to us and it's up to us to decide what to do with it, get a new computer, freeze, render etc.
