Andreas my man - AWESOME work! I'd like to send a donation too, but I gotta pay for Christmas till atleast April.

Works great (well almost) in OP5 as well. I say 'almost' cause when I toggled the Probability level, it works okay nudging down. When I reset it to 'full up' - it crashed Orion on me!

One other thing to suggest... I don't mind dragging samples from a C:/ window et al. But I'm watching this Xtal - and it's pretty cool how it uses it's 'File Picker', and Directory menu. Is there a possibilty that could be incorporated into Slifty? (I won't tell.)

I'll try to use it a little more tommorrow, and report any other glitches I come across if it can help you any? Aside from that, it runs like a charm for me, well laid out, and editing control extrodinaire! Keep up the most excellent work Andreas!

I can't load samples in Sonar 3.1. Making sure the window is active before dragging doesn't fix it for me...

I can load samples & I can trigger the sample slots from my sequencer (FLS & eXT).

What I can't seem to be able to do is trigger a Slifty sequence.

How do I trigger different Slifty sequences?

I cannot trigger slifty sequences in FLS either. The cakewalk wrapper (as of the Sonar 3.1 update) didn't like any of the ioplong registered plugins, but DirectiXer and slifty seemed to work very well. Tracktion also works like a charm.

Hi ! problems noted in FLS (last uptdate):
- sometime Slifty won't open when loading a saved project.
- pitch value alteration (pitch saved=0, opened= -100 while bargraph on =0 position).

Anyway this is the most smart, usefull, cute plugin i've seen in a while. And at last a plug not looking like a ugly 80's synth (well there is a few others) ...

I hope this plug will finally work in FLS and that you'll make numberous great music tools in the future.

This is a cool plugin, but i have some problems :
1.
moving the propability slider leads to an instant crash
within audiomulch and Orion ( others not tested )
2. triggering the second sample without triggering the
firsrt sample slot earlier leads to no sound or at least drops
3. inserting a second instance of slifty into a project
leads to "acess violation at adress 00000000" and then
the program exist to WinXP ( in Audiomulch ).

That's sad, because i think it is a great addition to
audiomulch ( and other hosts as well )

about problem 2 + 3 : I can't reproduce this here,WinXP and Audiomulch...working fine
problem 1: yups, theres a problem with the probability param...

I can't, for the life of me, get the sequencer to do anything.

I am using EnergyXT (standalone) & FLS as hosts. EnergyXT shows no movement in Slifty's sequencer. FLS shows movement in the sequencer, but no sound is produced from the sequence.

Can somebody post or send a preset that shows what the sequencer is supposed to do & how it is to be used? A preset with the required samples would be cool!

I have had no success in FLS or energyXT standalone.
Tracktion works very very well though (not that it helps you, but perhaps you might want to download the demo on Tracktion to give slifty a spin, and consequently give Tracktion a spin as well

I've given Tracktion a look in the past. It's just not my cup of tea.

Your instrument is wonderful. Also very nice looking and simple GUI. The only equivalent I know are some Reaktor thingy which are not accessible to anyone w/o Reaktor. Thanks a lot for the work, I will donate.

As others mentionned I would rather have an independent (from presets) midi learn feature to trigger patterns. This would easy considerably the use of the host sequencer.

File selector is actually quite helpful.

Unfortunately, FLStudio still seems to not play past one sequence. I haven't yet tested things using the Cakewalk adapter or energyXT, but I imagine the issues still exist.
