Thanks Mike - be welcome! By the way I'd like to point that VIDEO 2 labeled as "The Instrument" shows not only the Instrument specific features - there are lots of musical examples and demos which show many of the other choir/vocal patches which have not been demonstrated in VIDEO 1. The second video demonstrates in details the very new SSE and other ultimate tools which allows you to compose and arrange sound material on the fly as never before - you can compose new phrases or articulations from the existing material in real time etc.

Ivan,

It says this is a phrase library, but does it have any traditional SATB choir samples in it? Articulations such as Eh, Ee, Oo, Ah, Oh, etc.?

Looks really good. A bit expensive. How many instruments and multis does it include?

The traditional layering articulations such as Eh, Ee, Oo, Ah, Oh, etc. will be released in Part 2 (The Grand Choral) soon. Even that, Part 1 offers special "Chord Sync" suite which is specially designed to be used in polyphonic mode (scroll the time slider of VIDEO 1 to 3:28 to watch such demo or VIDEO 2 to 5:50). For instance there is an instrument "Dam-ba-da-ba-da" which is included in the "Chor Sync" suite. To emulate such "talking" singing you will need at least 5 traditional articulations and trust me you can not arrange them to achieve absolutely live choir (the syllable sequencers sounds funny with BG voices). That's why Audiogrocery developed the new ultimate Sample Start Edit (SSE) - you can set the different note keys to start from different vocal articulation position and make new vocal patters, polyrhythmic motifs, new articulations patches (VIDEO 2 time 4:50) etc - which will be a difficult task to force a choir to sing that live…
Most of the "Rubato" instruments included in the "RUB" suite offer "Loop" unison region mode ( there is an Acappela Demo in VIDEO 1 time 7:48 ). This gives you traditional articulation layering which is gotten from existing singing. In this scenario the singers are in a very good mood to sing dynamically etc, and give more life to the music. That's why I prefer such kind of articulations which sound more realistic in comparison with plain Ahh, Ehh etc. I know that "The Grand" is wished but "The Phrases" and their extra programming is essential to have a real live choir in your composition!

There are 27 complex instruments (5 of them are SOLO VOX bonus from the upcoming ORPHEUS Part 3). The list of all instrument patches and Suites is shown at the beginning of VIDEO 1. Regarding the Multis - there are no ones because each client can create his favored ones related to his own taste…
By the way both Demo Videos are downloadable (there are DOWNLOAD links at the bottom at each video player) so you can watch them offline.

You can check our topic here if you are interested in an alternative to those provided by our colleagues.

"Rhodope: Ethnic Bulgarian Choir" gives you the ability to write your own words and sentences via the new SYLLABUILDER engine (a full word building engine which you can use to get realistic results in minutes).

Of course you can always use only Eh, Ee, Oo, Ah, Oh if you don't want to build words :) .
We are starting beta testing in a few days so it will be available in the beginning of June.
