I'm picking up on this thread because we at Acon Digital are about to release a new plug-in for reverb manipulation called Acon Digital DeVerberate. I've uploaded a set of audio files that demonstrate the capabilities: https://soundcloud.com/acondigital/sets ... rate-audio
Basically, you only have to set the time and level of the reverberation in the source recording. The internal algorithm then attempts to separate the direct signal from the reflections and you can adjust the output levels of these two signal components separately.
