Animoog 1.1.0 Beware!

Does anyone know how to restore the user presets that were deleted with the 1.1 update?
Were these presets only stored in the ipad, or were they stored in the app itself and saved with time machine?
I restored the 1.04 version with time machine and deleted the 1.1 in the itunes mobile apps folder. But itunes did some confusing things I didn't understand - after some hassle I ended up with animoog 1.04, but without my own presets.

But as somebody mentioned before a MIDI CC 99 is sent sometimes.
In any case I think we should report the bugs at Moog Forum as well.

In some situations I get CC99 and also CC0, but I guess these are used internally by animoog.
I'm using Bidule with some piz midi plugs as well so it's pretty easy to remap, filter or whar ever.
Thanks for the link I will report there once I've done some more testing.

What I see there is key aft or poly aft. What is weird is that you don't seem to receive channel aft also called channel pressure.
Funny, now I'm wondering if it's not the network midi port or something that is generating the channel pressure event on the mac.
Need to try this on the pc. Also no one else seems to receive thes cc99 and cc00 that I'm receiving ... spooky

In the quick test above it does not show the CC 99 but I got that issue too. I think it appears when I slide my finger over different notes but I am not completely sure about it.mbncp wrote:Also no one else seems to receive thes cc99 and cc00 that I'm receiving ... spooky

Hello everyone!
I have problem buying "midi out pack". When I try to load the animoog store products list it shows me system message "still fetching products", but no packs appear in the list. only "restore purchases" button. did anyone encounter such a bug?

I can't restore the Richard Devine sounds. The "Restore Purchases" doesn't give me the "Restore" of it...Breeze wrote:FYI:

UPDATE! Actually, after deleting and attempting 2 re-installs, it finally launched. The only thing now is that it seems to be unable to import my saved presets...
...which now works after relaunching iTunes. But it won't import the zip archive, you have to import each preset individually or as a group. Me thinks they'll have to polish up the file management (new categories? clean up duplicates?) And the in-app purchase still offers me the Richard Devine soundset, despite the fact that I already own it I did a "Restore Purchases". Definitely not a clean update.
Sorry for the play by play...

I wrote Moog about some of these issues a few days ago and here is their answer, maybe useful to some of you:
FYI...Moog Support wrote:Due to high volume of e-mails relating to the latest Animoog update, the following is a general outline of how to solve the issue and what to expect in the coming week:
1) If you have already updated and the app isn't opening, DON'T delete it right away if you have custom presets you want to save. There is a free program called i-FunBox (for Mac and Windows) that you can use to offload your presets to a computer for safe-keeping first: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14118
2) If you don't have any custom presets or if you've saved them already, deleting the app and re-downloading (for free) from the App Store will get it running again. i-FunBox is the easiest way to load your presets back into Animoog, as well. You can also create a .zip file containing your presets folder, and use iTunes File Sharing and the "Import Presets" button on the Animoog setup page to restore saved presets. Drop the zipped presets folder into the Animoog File Sharing window in iTunes, then open Animoog and do Import Presets.
3) Animoog v1.1.1 has already been submitted and will fix all of these issues. Apple has just approved this update, so the new version should be coming online within 24 hrs. If you prefer, you can just wait for the next update and it should make everything right. No further action is required and no presets will be lost. I would anticipate the v1.1.1 update should be available via the App Store by this time next week; possibly sooner.
Further information:
*There was an outage with the server that hosts the In-App Purchases, but it should be back up within 24 hrs. Once it is back up, you should be able to access all purchases again.
*If you have purchased the MIDI Out expansion and are using the Alesis IO Dock, you may need to update the firmware on your device. Older IO Dock firmware can cause missed and stuck notes with the latest version of the Animoog. To update your device, go here:
