To check your presets just click on "My presets only" in the selection drop down menu in the upper right filter field. If there is no trash can behind your preset name it is uploaded and will be part of the challengeAZZZ wrote:I made few patches and pressed sync button.
I can edit my profile but can't find author name section.
And I care "was my preset really synced"?
please help

And the winner was....."Mystery Horizon"!
With just a few days left until the deadline of our ongoing Curve 2 Sound Design Challenge, we take the time and look back to the winner of our last preset contest: The wonderful atmospheric pad "Mystery Horizon" by Konrad! It makes clever use of Curve's LFOs and waveform crossfade to achieve a lot of depth and movement.
Thanks for this masterpiece:

Konrad will be soon part of our team and support Cableguys with his great sound design skills. We look forward to it!
To join the ongoing contest, just upload your preset until June 1st! Check the details

Who will win?
Our Curve 2 Sound Design Challenge has just ended!
You have sent us over 400 entries - atmospheric pads, angry basses, melodic synthlines and more... wow!
We’d like to thank everyone who participated and sent us so amazing sounds.
It will take a while until the jury has chosen the winners, please be a little bit patient.
We will announce them as soon as possible - so keep checking, you may be one of the winners!

Making sounds on Curve2 was fun! (though I only submitted 4 patches)
edit: Just posted a track featuring one of the them. Check it out on SoundCloud.

A very fair demo. Imagine if companies gave away hardware synths for free but only one per person...Nielzie wrote:So why the rolling eyes?fluffy_little_something wrote: Anyway, good idea to boost sales by making zillions of people download the demo
"These demos are fully functional and have no time limit, but you can only use one instance per song and you can't save presets."

It's really not much as it was quickly improvised but hey, feel free to share it if you want to.

It took a while to sight all 400+ entries - but now the jury with Jean Alain Roussel, Sascha Dikiciyan und David Boldini has selected the 10 winners.
And congratulation to Qwertybob for making place 1 with his incredibly deep Underground Electronics!
Listen to their favorite entries:

You can find the sounds of all contestants, including the 10 winners, in the cloud-based library of Curve 2. All sounds are available in the demo version of Curve, too. Have a listen, tweak them and use them in your new songs!
You can get all the details on the contest page.

my few words to that: i dont like software where the first needing is a stable internet connection, or necessary files to run a software.
remember: usb-license dongles or a software need to connect to a cloud, will not be supportet from my side. if this is the new way, go it without me and forget my money. if not, offer several ways for the people to participate, but dont use them as hostages for third party experiments or open black holes in the space. the internet is not a save place.
thats not professional.

You can use Curve without Internet connection, it includes many sounds, and there is no Internet connection needed for unlocking, we do not want to force an Internet connection for the users.
If you want to use the Sync functionality to share your sounds and to get new sounds from others you need an Internet connection, but that's optional.
But you can also save the sounds via your host if you want to back them up without Internet or want to send them to others without connecting Curve to the Internet, no problem with that.
